Daley Care

She is excellent with my puppy. I’m definitely going to continue bringing him here for daycare!

Yesterday I went on an «interview» at Daley Care for my beloved little pup! We were fortunate that another family was also interviewing so we got to interact with the other potential playmates. Margaret was amazing and spent two hours answering our questions and putting us at ease. Rufus in the meantime got to play with the dogs and enjoyed himself! It never occurred to me to ask her what kind of shoe equipment she had for the hikes/​walks but was surprised to see she had purchased cleats for her boots so the dogs would not miss out on their time outdoors. Her home is pet safe with limited furniture to prevent them from hurting themselves. There is amble space for playing and for resting. I am so excited for my little guy to get to try this amazing experience. I don’t need to worry about transportation — she’s thought of that with her 4WD van. I don’t need to worry about him running off — she’s thought of that with her extended leashes. I don’t need to worry about him not getting enough exercise — she’s prepared to hike the Himalayas! I don’t need to worry about him being alone — the dogs are never unattended. I don’t need to worry about a sick day or vacation day — she’s thought of that with back up and other strategies. I can not say enough great things about Margaret and how thrilled I am for my little guy to start this next chapter in his life! This past Christmas I was comparing prices for doggy daycares in the area and it came down to Margaret’s Daleycare and a local kennel with a seemingly good reputation. After speaking to both owners they both looked like great places that I could 100% see my dog enjoying but in the end it came down to price. Daleycare is a bit on the expensive side at $ 56/​night, so I chose the kennel which saved me about $ 11 per night, however Margaret told me that if I had any problems to call and let her know.
Fast forward a few days and I am being called to pick up my dog, as I was told she was vomiting. I called Margaret because I was out of state for the holidays and she came and checked out my dog. After giving her a bath she concluded that my dog was vomiting out of anxiety due to her being in a cage for extended periods of time (which I did not know was going to happen to my poor baby). Through this experience, I learned that in this business you really get only what you pay for, so if you are looking for your dog to have an enjoyable experience and not just a place to stay, I would suggest Daleycare. if I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. Margaret is absolutely wonderful! She clearly loves all her dogs and gives them terrific, personalized care. I would recommend her to anyone. she does a fabulous job and our dog leaves happy and completely exhausted. Paula S.

DaleyCare has provided extraordinary and loving care to both Snickers, our nine year old chocolate lab, and to our 3 year old English Sheep dog, Winston for the past 3 ½ years.
I don’t know what we would do without Margaret. We are out of town on a regular basis and when she has them, she plays, walks and takes such good care of them. On our last trip on the pacific coast, we received a call from Margaret telling us that Winston was not acting correctly;
and she was concerned. Margaret took our Winston to our veterinarian where he received the tests and medicine necessary for recovery. She cared for him until our return by restricting his walk as to not overtax him and provided the diet necessary to bring him back to his playful self. We refer to Margaret as our boys’ second home and recommend her without hesitation.
If we could give her 10 star rating, it wouldn’t be high enough!

Margaret is great. She treats every dog like her own. She’s very flexible with scheduling and her rates are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

DaleyCare is a wonderful place to keep your dog for the day or while you are on vacation or for the weekend. The owner, Margaret, loves dogs and makes sure they all get their exercise in! This is no kennel, this is a hands on, paws in the grass, snouts to the scent kind of place where your dog or dogs will join the group of other dogs and be walked and exercised better than you do it yourself.

I have an animal menagerie and Daleycare is the only place I will «board» my pets. I have two dogs, sometimes three dogs, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a well-​nourished Rat Terrier, and sometimes a handsome Chihuahua. I found Margaret (DaleyCare) while searching for a caring, loving, activity filled place with NO wire kennels and concrete runs about 7 years ago. It and she are absolutely fantastic! There is NO place else to board my pets since finding Margaret. She’s devoted to my dogs; she exercises them; loves them; keeps them happy while I’m away and returns them tired and happy to see me. But the best recommendation I can make is that my dogs see Margaret walk in and they rush to her, jump all over and can’t wait to leave with her! She is THE BEST! I can’t say enough good things about her service, either boarding or daily Daley care! You and your pets will adore her too. Cheers, Jacquie
