Our son has gone here since he was 4 months old and I couldn’t have gotten through going back to work without the support i got from this center. I was very hesitant about daycare before we started but i can say this place has really helped shape my son into who he is today! all the teachers(even in rooms he’s not in!) are all great and beyond friendly and supportive. Jodi the director is the pulse of the center and is the first smile you see in there. The place is clean, organized and they have great events for the kids all the time. I mean who doesn’t live for a theme day every once in a while? We moved to a different town and i kept my son at the center because i didn’t want him to go anywhere else!

Our son has gone here since he was 5 months old, just a fantastic center for kids ! The center is very well run, organized and good care is provided to every child. The owner, director, teachers and support staff are warm, courteous and good listeners. They have so many different activities from infant to 5yr olds and keep them well engaged and educated. They are full most of the time and usually have a pretty long waiting list, the reason is obvious — a well run child care center is sometimes hard to find ! They are not a chain so don’t have to put up with irrelevant policies. When it comes to taking care of the kids all that matters is warmth and the teachers do a great job of that ! The director is a very good leader, leads by example and that trickles down to rest of the staff being very good professionals. The center organizes several programs as part of community service and does a very good job of giving back which is very nice. Highly recommended !

My daughter just graduated and it is bittersweet! She is ready for Kindergarten and beyond because of the wonderful curriculum at First Steps ELC. But most importantly, she has been loved and nurtured by teachers and staff who do a wonderful job every day. I am so glad my daughter had such a terrific experience at First Steps Early Learning Center.

Our daughter has attended First Steps ELC since she was not quite 3 months old, and she will be leaving to attend kindergarten in the fall. We will be so sad to leave First Steps, but so grateful for the family we have found there! I have always been impressed with both the warm and loving care and the excellent organization and communication we have experienced at First Steps. Our daughter has learned so much from her teachers and her friends, and we have always been very confident in the safe, clean, nurturing environment of this daycare/school. The office staff is fantastic, and everyone goes above and beyond what you would expect to provide a great resource for working families. The center also gives back to the community, collecting food for food banks, and raising funds for March of Dimes and other causes. We hope to come back and participate in school vacation and summer programs here. We were very lucky to find First Steps, and we feel the center offers outstanding value.

Be careful! When I was pregnant I visited the center and I was given a tour to the classrooms and the programs. They told me about the waiting list and application fee. I was asked for $ 50.00 dollars for my son to be in the waiting list. I remember that I asked them if they would be having a spot and they said that they could guarantee something at the time my son would be born and that I would receive a phone call after my delivery date in order to check a start day. After a few months from that visit I made to the center then my son was born and I never received a phone call. I called them and I asked them the status and the person who answered the phone was quite abrupt and said that they were full. She told me to check in a month or call Sabira. I visited the center later and when I arrived to the front desk I asked about the waiting list and the person at the front desk was at that moment counting the checks of many others parents in the waiting list and she said that exactly at the time of my arrival she was checking the waiting list. She asked to wait for a few minutes because she would not find my son in a bunch of papers and checks that she was having at her desk and she went to the computer and I could read in a document that she left at her desk that she was about to cash 25 checks of parents in the waiting list in order to pay internal expenses in the daycare. When she returned back she told me that they were still full and I confronted her and asked her about the reasons that they accept so many people in the waiting list knowing that they dont have spots. She said that she was only doing what the director told her to do.
