Family owned business that still does full-​service gas fill ups the old way (washing the car windows and everything). We’ve been coming here for years because we work and live in the neighborhood; have watched their kids grow up, the business expand. Great people, great place.

This shop continues to do right by me. I got an inspection earlier today at a different shop and failed. They said it was because my ball joints were bad, and when I was watching them check I was having trouble believing them. So I brought my vehicle to jacks to get an estimate. They confirmed my suspicion, and told me everything was fine. They gave my vehicle a clean bill of health and I was on my way. The guys at jacks are honest and straight, highly recommended!!!

Currently at Jack’s while writing this. I absolutely love this gas station/​shop and adore the employees. Friendly, honest and caring. They have never once tried to upsell me and the people who reviewed that this shop upsells just doesn’t understand the mechanics of a vehicle or something. And complaining about wait is ridiculous! #1 it’s a shop, and a popular one at that, you might have to wait a little. #2 why would you complain about a wait, that just means they are carefully evaluating your vehicle for your own safety. And to the person who said they waited 20 mins for their oil change forgot to mention she came at 4:30 on a Saturday and they close at 4:00. They were nice enough to do it for her anyway! Seriously anyone who has negative things to say about this shop either were having s bad day or know nothing about vehicles and customer service. I recommend this shop 1000 times over!

I drove in this morning with my just-​expired inspection sticker, and they took me in for an inspection right away. Within 5 minutes, they had inspected the car, replaced the sticker, printed the inspection report, rung me up for the bill, and backed out my car from the bay. Super fast and friendly!
I’ll definitely come back for inspections.
They also have really easy gas pumping, since the pump for you. This is especially nice in the crazy winter we’re having, with 2 feet of snow and more on the way!

I came here, they asked me to wait for 15 mins and then they would change the oil for me. After 20 mins, I ask them when they can change the oil. They said it’s too late; they wouldn’t do it today. I waited 20 mins for NOTHING. Worse service I have ever seen.

Brought my car in for an oil change, they took me right away and didn’t mess around. Ask for Elias, great guy will help you out!

They tried to sell me un-​needed repairs.
I joined Unilocal specifically to write this review because I’m so disappointed in this service station. I have used them for inspection stickers for many years for both my car and my wife’s car. We keep our cars in good shape so we’ve never had a problem before but today when I went in I failed the inspection.
They jacked up the front end of my car and showed me that the boots for my struts were ripped. They claimed to have touched the inside rod of the strut and said there was oil leaking. They indicated that I needed to have my struts replaced in order to pass. The repair would cost between four and five hundred dollars.
I went to my regular mechanic and he told me yes the boots were ripped but the struts were NOT leaking, the struts were clearly safe and in good enough shape. Also he said you couldn’t fail inspection for ripped boots; it was not a safety issue. I went to yet another gas station and they inspected the car and passed me, agreeing that the struts were not a safety issue.
So I went back to Jack’s gas and I told them the story and asked for my $ 35 back. The service person became very indignant and shouted that they were going to have the other inspection station reported. They picked up the phone, but at the same time, did give me my $ 35 back.
The shop was not busy (I was told that the work could be done that day), I suppose that they needed the work. Too bad, I’ll never be there customer again.

I drove all the way from a few towns over just because I read good reviews and got the oil change price for $ 25 was a good deal. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of making the trip because this area is really congested and you do have to pull off the street like the other reviewer said and get off the rotary and it can be dangerous. I pulled up next to the gas pumps and asked the attendantwhere I could get the oil changed and he said he’ll check and get back to me. I waited about five minutes and there was still no guy coming back to tell me where I could park to get the oil change. I asked him again as I saw him attending to a mobile gas customer and he said the guy was busy. Then the Nissan Maxima behind me got aggravated and then he threw water on my car! I was horrified so I told the gas attendant I’m going somewhere else and then I left. I called the shop then they offered to file a police report but I felt the area was to Dangerous to return so I decided to take my business elsewhere. If I could I would give this place negative one star because they have no customer service and they should really hire people that are trained to tell people where to go if they need an oil change. I think this is really unacceptable and for that They should have no stars should really be –3. Also, for the punks and violent people, and riff Rafa that go there they might even pull out a gun! I wouldn’t be risking my life to get an oil change!

A quick and dirty (albeit thorough) inspection ran me the state standard $ 35 and took less than 10 minutes. Cards accepted; seasonal banter offered free of charge.
Cooler of drinks will ply you with 20 ounces of corn syrup for a buck and a half. The haphazard bags of chips, however, leave something to be desired. Unless that desire is windshield wiper fluid, which they have plenty of out by the pumps. Grab and go!
Chill dudes, quick service and reasonable prices on fuel. It’s a stop if you need it.

Went to get the inspection and they found a safety issue with the steering assembly of my vehicle. They gave me an estimate and did not push any services on me. While they were working I also asked them to take care of my breaks. The work required ended up not being as bad as first thought, and the guys only did what was necessary for a reduced price. The guys run a great shop and are straight shooters. I like working with honest people and this guys know what they are doing. I will definitely be coming back for future car repair needs.

People do business with nice people — the crew here is super awesome!
The other day my bimmer indicated a flat tire and I drove to Jack’s. Not only did they drive me back to my house to get the spare tire but replaced it almost instantly with a very minimal charge.
I highly recommend this friendly gas station!

I get gas here from time to time. I have had my tires plugged here for $ 20 a couple of times. I got my oil changed for $ 25 here in under 10 – 15 mins. These guys are fast, efficient and VERY friendly. There is a jokester that works here, be on the lookout!

I work next door to the Gas Station and Mike and his crew are by far the best mechanics I have ever worked with. I drive an older car which breaks down all the time and he fixes it right away. He orders parts the same day and my car is always done the same day I bring it in.

FULL SERVICE GAS STATION!
The only thing that sucks about this place, it’s off of a busy street and it’s hard to pull out!

Had to run in and get a part for my car — told them my make, model, and part… within minutes they had the part!
Because it was after market they were not entirely sure that it would work, so they told me I could try it and come back for an exchange if it was not right (even though it would be open and ‘used’), that is pretty great compared to most places!
It is a full service gas station, which frankly I am still not used to. Do you tip them? If there is a line and only one person working but four pumps are you allowed to get it yourself? These things stump me, for now.
They have a one stall repair garage too. Their pricing for service looks pretty reasonable and when I asked about oil changes, tire rotation, etc it seemed like there was no need to book weeks in advance (maybe a day or two it sounded like). They were on foreign and domestic, even turbos (good for me!).
Overall, shop seems well run, clean and with a friendly staff. I am likely to give them non-​dealer required service for my car without hesitation!
