Lucky Lucy’s Pets

We found Stephanie this summer after we adopted 2 cats. It was such a relief knowing she was looking after them while we were on vacation, the pictures and detailed messages every visit are so nice to get! You can tell she really has a passion for animals and love sharing her love. I loved looking through lucky Lucy’s social media accounts and seeing pictures of our cats doing funny things! (She asks ahead of time if you are okay with her using their pictures, so you can always say no). We were so sad to move out of the area so soon after finding her, but I whole heartedly recommend her services!

I really can’t say enough good things about Lucky Lucy’s Pets. I’d like to tell people that I’m not a crazy dog person… but there are plenty of people who would tell you otherwise. When I moved to the area, I was dreading trying to find a dog walker and for someone to help out for those nights when I’m out of town. It’s hard finding people you can trust and people who are reliable.
I looked into several companies locally that had some walking and overnight services, but they only offered somewhat inflexible packages. Most of the packages that I saw required my pup to be enrolled in a company’s daily daycare before they would consider overnight stays… then I stumbled on Lucky Lucy’s Pets. I promptly contacted them and arranged for someone from Lucky Lucy’s to come over, see my home, and meet my pup.
Immediately after walking in the door, Duncan, my dog, raced over to Stephanie from Lucky Lucy’s Pets and started kissing her – granted, he loves all people and I’m sure he smelled tons of other dogs on her… but I took it as a sign. She was great with him and we set up a walk later that week to test the waters. Everything went great on the walk, and I loved that she left a note about the walk and even sent an email with pictures! Now after being a customer for several months, I don’t have one bad thing to say about Lucky Lucy’s and I’d happily recommend them to any of my friends and friends’ dogs!

My husband and I went with Lucky Lucy’s to watch our cat while we were away on our honeymoon for about 10 days. Setting up the consultation with Stephanie was easy and she was able to work with us on slightly short notice.
Suparna watched our cat, and everything was great! While we were away, we got daily emails with updates and pictures. These really helped me to be able to relax while on vacation. When we got back, there were detailed notes from each day waiting for us, plus she brought up all of our packages (a ridiculous number of them since we had just gotten married and presents were arriving) and mail! Our cat had clearly been well taken care of and acted like we had never left.
I definitely recommend Lucky Lucy’s!

We recently moved from Somerville to Medford and were originally recommended to Lucky Lucy’s by our former pet sitter. We notified them of our travel plans 2 month in advance but were assured that their was plenty of availability for our requested dates. Because we hadn’t moved yet and we knew the cats would take a few weeks to settle in, we scheduled the initial consultation a week before our trip. The entire time we were assured that there would be no problems with availability.
At the very last minute, the owner Stephanie, contacted me to indicate that she would be out of town during the dates requested and that she could no longer take care of our cats. So we are now struggling 5 days before our trip to find a new cat sitter. According to her website she has several employees so not sure how her last minute travels would affect the whole company’s schedule.
Maybe the cat sitting service is good, we’ll never know… But the business side of things are pretty horrendous. To cancel last minute on a potential client (we are very loyal and travel a lot) the week before their trip is highly unprofessional. I’d stay away if I were you!

I highly recommend using Lucky Lucy’s for your pet care needs. Stephanie and her coworkers have taken care of my two cats various times over the past year as I regularly leave town for short stints (1 week — 3 weeks).
Stephanie is very easily accessible through email and responds very quickly; she confirms your trip a week or so before so that you can be sure your pets are on her schedule (especially reassuring when you have scheduled visits several months in advance); and whoever visits the pets always sends cute updates with photographs. Stephanie also goes above and beyond by sweeping or wiping up kitty messes.
My cats are like my children, and being able to leave them in Lucky Lucy’s hands makes the separation much less anxiety-​producing.

I can’t say enough about Lucky Lucy’s Pets and Stephanie. She has gone above and beyond to make sure my girl Daisy is well taken care of and happy. Daisy LOVES Stephanie… like throws her a party when she walks in the door! Stephanie has been so flexible with my crazy schedule. When Daisy had emergency surgery last year Stephanie was able to help make sure Daisy was more than well taken care. Now that Daisy is a tri-​paw, Stephanie has gone out of her way to make sure that Daisy is walked with dogs that go at her pace and match her personality.
We are moving from Medford and I can honestly say leaving Stephanie is one of the hardest things. Reliable pet care is so hard to find and we are going to have a very hard time finding someone as good a fit as she has been for our family.

Dan and Anna-​Katherine took such great care of our two kitties over the holidays. While we were gone, I got daily updates and pictures. When we came home, everything was great at home and the kitties were happy and healthy.
I am so happy that I was able to find a trustworthy cat-​sitter! I completely recommend their service.

Our previous dog walker moved out of town about a year ago and we’re so lucky to have found Lucky Lucy’s Pets. Stephanie and Jessica have been great — friendly, trustworthy, dependable, timely, etc. +1 for these guys.

It’s always difficult to leave our cat home when we travel but it’s so much easier now that we know what good care he will have with AnnaKatherine from Lucky Lucy’s.
After each visit, she sends us a text with an update and a photo of him. Our cat is shy but always comes out to play with AnnaKatherine — a testament to how good she is to him.
From the moment we met Stephanie (the owner) and AnnaKatherine, we knew that they were true animal lovers. They’re warm, friendly and — best of all — very responsive and flexible.

I’m booking Anna Katherine and Stephanie for the 4^th time this Christmas and am very confident that my cat will be just fine for the week I’m gone. Anna Katherine is diligent about reporting each visit: a photo along with a detailed chart of her behavior. She will water your plants, change the litter each day, do any complicated feeding schedule, and even brushes her each visit.
She’s also good with my cat. I can tell because when I come home, she is not showing all her signs of stress typical of me being away (even on 2 week departures!) I’m so thankful!
By the way, responding to a prior review — I’ve had nothing short of great service with Stephanie in terms of payment. I found her very flexible and easy to work with each time.

At first, Lucky Lucy’s Pets appears kind and helpful. AnnaKatherine, one of the employees of Lucky Lucy’s who actually took care of my cat Daisy was kind, flexible, easy-​going and sweet. However, the manager of this company, Stephanie, is not kind, brisk, moody, and inflexible, especially when it comes to payment. I have moved to a different country and had a common mistake on my original payment (in personal check form). After this incident, Stephanie became cold, unkind and inflexible to my situation, adding more and more unwarranted costs to my payment because of her inflexibility and lack of insight on other payment options. I wanted to give this company a good review but her behavior and lack of professionalism at the end has earned this company 2 stars.

Stephanie is an excellent choice for all your pet sitting needs. She’s responsive, prompt, responsible, and detailed oriented. I love the little updates and pictures that she sends with each visit, it really eases my separation anxiety (yeah yeah I’m attached to my cat, I’m a crazy cat lady). My kitty always seems well fed and happy when I get home from a trip. Her prices are extremely reasonable for this area, and she seems to be always available and happy to come by. My only complaint is that my cat never makes it on her facebook page, which I totally stalk to get my daily dose of cute animals. But that’s b/​c my cat is the most un-​photogenic cat ever. =P

I can’t say enough great things about Lucky Lucy. Stephanie from Lucky Lucy is great. She came to meet our pets to make sure they liked her and she like them. Our pets just feel in love with her. When we first moved here we didn’t have our things and the day the moving truck got here it was on a Saturday. Stephanie picked Leland up at 9am and keep him busy all over town for about 6 hours. He was passed out the next 3 days! When I get home from work there is always a note left on the table that details how the visit went. It’s always a highlight of the day. On a few occasions I was away from the house longer then planed and Stephanie had the bandwidth to run over to walk Leland. When we go on vacation, Stephanie also comes up with a great game plan to make sure Leland is let out as much as possible. He can’t stay at Stephanie’s due to him not being able to do stairs at her place. She’s also great at giving meds. Leland is not the best medicine taker. Stephanie got to know a few of our neighbors that have stopped me to say how nice she is and how good she is with Leland. Along with Leland we have a cat that loves to give Stephanie little love bites and gets extra treats when she wants to be extra lovely. I also often have photos texted to me when the pets are being cute. It’s always a great surprise. I highly recommended using Lucky Lucy’s.

Stephanie is a great choice for your pet care needs.
She is professional and leaves daily notes so you know how the day went.
Also, she is up to date with modern technology so you can contact conveniently via text. Plus, she posts pics of the walks on FB and Instagram so you can get a quick updates of your favorite pet even when you aren’t home.

Steph’s services are ideal. Personally, I’m a control freak and it’s hard to let go of certain things in my life (my dog and family are at the top of my priorities list). I’ve been fortunate to have Steph working with my pet for 2+ years now. I wouldn’t know what to do without her and Lucy’s Pet Services! She’s great and reliable for anything from daily walks, overnight drop-​off, to extended visits :) highly recommend!
