I normally do most of the basic service on my car, however due to size constraints and the weather, I figured it would be easier to just have someone do the oil change for me. Found nicks auto repair on Unilocal.I have been looking for a place to bring my car for a while. I’m glad I decided to give nick a shot. I brought in my Camry and told him about my brake and service light problem and he told me the price and when I could of expect it back. To my surprise he fixed everything and even a few other things that he did not charge. Other shops would of included it. Got my car back paid what he told me and the car is running great. I’m glad I brought him my car and I’ll be going back. I would definitely recommend him to others. 5 star service. Thank nick.

Brought my car into Nick’s after it started making a really nasty rattling/​clicking sound. Nick figured out it was a few bits of rust from a heat shield that chipped off and was rattling around a part of the engine. He took the bits out, cleaned it up, and had me ready to go in just a few hours, and refused to charge me for the work. Nick is a class act and I will definitely be bringing my car back there.

I needed an oil change for my prius 2010!
I called Nicks Auto and got a very good price and time with no wait! That was very nice!
It was no wait and price was super good for full synthetic!
Before this oil change i try 2 different stations, and they couldn’t take my oil filter holder, but here everything went very good and easy!
I recommend Nicks Auto for any kind of car check or repair, the guy is very honest and can give you a good advise!
Its always frustrating to go for car service, but you will feel very satisfied!

Just had my car serviced by Nick, it’s a 2007 Passat wagon, with high miles. I initially went with Nick because of his Unilocal reviews, and because he agreed to install a part I already had. When I arrived, I mentioned another issue I was having with the car and he said he’d look into it.
He started working on my car right away, and called me after the quoted time. I was impressed with his honesty and recommendations for repairs that should be done. He obviously knew the engine and car very well, and I asked him to do a second repair on the car that day. He called to let me know it was finished around 4, and I hopped in an Über from Dorchester. I got stuck in some unusually heavy northbound traffic, and called at about 4:45. Nick was awesome, he waited for me to arrive and still showed me the issues he had repaired. I won’t be late again, but his flexibility was appreciated.
If you’re looking for an auto mechanic that is thorough, very knowledgable and honest, you have to visit.

Great guy! Smart and easy to talk too. Never tries to sell you. I came with my own parts (brake pads and rotors becuase my brother is a mechanic back in NJ) and he put them on no problem. Also let me know other issues that was wrong with my car without trying to sell me on it. Just gave me more of a heads up. Will definitely come back to Nick in the future.

We have a ten year old BMW that wouldn’t start. We just moved here from Chicago and didn’t know where to take it. We saw the great reviews and figured we’d give him a chance. We were thrilled with his professionalism. He spread out all the parts and explained them to me why they needed replacing… all I heard was the voice of a parent in a Peanut’s cartoon speaking — I had no idea what he was saying. But he came across very honest and sincere and we appreciated that. The price was very reasonable.

Just got my car fixed. Amazing fast service, and the money was right! Nick is fast and efficient. Had my car in and out quick and good as new!
I knew I needed a new exhaust system but he didn’t pressure me into doing it right away.
I was worries because driving a VW I know repairs can be costly and not everyone knows my German car very well, but it’s driving better than before I came in!

I called Nick’s and made an appointment last week. Really casual, just «take it in after we open, any time!»
Brought my car to the shop in the morning. It was pretty easy to spot, right next to a gas station.
I wanted some brakes replaced, and had a check-​engine light on, which I had previously checked as a secondary intake issue, but didn’t want to mess around with fixing myself since it seemed tricky to diagnose.
Nick called me back in an hour with a quote, and also offered to get the car reinspected since it had an «R» inspection sticker on it. It was really nice not to have to make a second trip to get that done, awesome!
I got a call several hours later that the car was ready to pick up. I went to get it, and Nick went through everything on the bill line by line with me. Everything seemed really reasonable — parts costs were what I would have paid, and labor was included too. It’s nice to have a reasonably priced Audi tech!
He had fixed the check-​engine light as well as replaced a headlight that I hadn’t noticed /​been able to fix for the inspection, and replaced my rear brakes. He also told me about a couple of other potential problems to work on, and gave me a quote, but didn’t pressure me at all about doing those repairs right then.
I’m glad to have found Nick’s since moving to the area. It’s hard to find a good mechanic! I’ll definitely be back for repairs that I can’t do myself.
