Description

Specialties

As Land Use Planning Consultants, we work with property owners and local governments to determine land use potential, and help our clients accomplish their land use goals. We prepare and submit land use applications for quasi-judicial review. As consultants, we represent our clients in a number of decision-making processes with the Cities and County, and interface with planning staff and commissions throughout the application process and review procedures. We are particularly adept at resolving difficult land use issues for both urban and rural properties.

History

Established in 1978.

We were first organized by founder Richard Stevens. The company was formed as a direct result of the passage of Senate Bill 100 in 1975, which created the Statewide Land Use Planning Program and the Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC), and established the 14 statewide planning goals. Richard, a former Planning Director and City Manager for Medford, recognized the growing need for consulting services to assist property owners and developers as land use laws expanded. His idea has been proven to be a success due to the ever-increasing land use regulations at the local and state levels.
