Specialties

The Rogue Valley Manor is a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community known as one of the finest, most progressive CCRCs in the nation. Encompassing more than 688 acres, it features three multi-story buildings as well as cottages, houses, and an on-site health care center. The campus is also home to two golf courses, Quail Point Golf Course and Centennial Golf Club. As a CCRC, Rogue Valley Manor offers a full continuum of care, including independent living, residential (assisted) living, special care for memory loss, in-home care, and skilled nursing care.

History

Established in 1955.

In 1955 an ecumenical community group of Methodists, Episcopalians, and Presbyterians came together to address the need for providing care for the seniors of southern Oregon. They formed a not-for-profit organization and built the Rogue Valley Manor on 15 acres. In the 1980s, the Manor’s Board of Directors and Executive Management Team began to focus on reaching a broader segment of the community and formed the new, not-for-profit corporation Pacific Retirement Services to oversee this effort. The RVM campus is now 668 acres and includes two more multi-story buildings in addition to cottages and houses.

RVM was the first retirement community on the West Coast to be accredited by CARF-CCAC. It’s the only CCRC in southern Oregon that is accredited.
