BEWARE! VERY EXPENSIVE! $ 275! For less than an hours work on my kitchen sink mid afternoon on a non-​holiday, they had the nerve to charge $ 275!
Two weeks before I used Crescent Plumbing for my upstairs sink. They charged $ 140 (which is no bargain) for a more challenging unclogging.
Richie and his son did the work satisfactorily, but check what they will charge you first.
Another plumber to avoid is Silco. According to Richie, they would have charged me $ 450!
It is critical to ask the fee the plumber will charge, I guess. Pricing is all over the place based on what they think they can get away with.

I called these guys on Sunday because of a clogged pipe. Said they could arrive on Monday morning. They arrived when they said they would but had to confirm by calling that morning for a time and they informed me they were on their way. When they arrived they had no customer service skills what so ever. They proceeded to snake my drain which did the trick, however one of the guys, (I think Ritchie was his name) complained the whole time about whoever had «messed with the sink» had made his job harder and how whoever did it «shouldn’t have touched anything». First rule of business: don’t insult your customer. Second rule of business, don’t break their bathroom cabinet with your body then tell your customer that you are going to fix it with glue and nails. To Ritchie’s credit he did return the following day to try and fix the cabinet, wound up breaking it further and then realized he would need to replace it. He did replace it with a new comparable one the day after. Ultimately he could not seem to get my sink topper that had been removed by my neighbor back in place and kept saying «I don’t know what he did to it!» My pipe under the sink was leaking even after this, and he claimed it was corroded and that was the problem, but was satisfied he had done his work of clearing the drain. I wanted these guys to be done and gone. Way too much of a hassle. I do give them credit for replacing my cabinet, but after not having shims in their van to level it, he just wanted to silicone it to the wall, and say it would be fine once it dried. Oh, and I forgot to mention that Ritchie was yelling at his clueless sidekick the whole time. It was pretty much a scene from a movie. Unprofessional, but did unclog the drain and replaced the cabinet they broke, without class.

I called Snake It Away at 8AM Monday morning to fix what I thought was a clogged main line. They told me someone would be to me within the hour. Promptly at 9AM, Mark showed up and sure enough I was right, it was the main line. Mark introduced himself was able to talk to me about the problem, make the small talk you make for these kinds of jobs, and quickly went about his work. He had the problem fixed within an hour and a half. It was an expensive job, but not as much as it could have been. Plumbing is one of those things that is hard to swallow spending money on, but in the end unless your brother-​in-​law is a plumber, you have to trust your instincts and trust the plumbers you hire. I had no prior connections to the guys at Snake It Away, but they seemed to know what they were doing, so I trusted them. Hopefully the line won’t clog again, if it did, I would call these guys again.

As the name suggests, Richie at Snake-​It-​Away is exactly the right person to call if you’ve got a heck-​of-​a drainage problem, especially in the middle of the night. I’m on it, he says, and he is. What can you say? The guy likes pipes and digging and getting rid of clogs. Hope you don’t need to call m, but if you do, you can be sure it will be dealt with in a fairly practical way.

I called them in an emergency, asked if he could come right away …½ hour later there he was. Richie is a really nice guy and he could have charged me A HUGE AMOUNT, but he didn’t …I wish there were more than five stars so I could give him 10. Thanks Richie you saved my a%%

cleared a clogged bathtub drain. incredibly responsive. richie picked up the phone on the 2^nd ring. they did the job within 24hrs of my first call. fast and professional. fair pricing. really nice guys, too. couldn’t have asked for better service!

It’s Saturday afternoon and we fond out that our main sewer line was clogged. We weren’t thrilled with the idea of spending the weekend without being able to flush. I called Snake It Away and in an hour, they were at our door.
I was pleased with their very prompt response as well as the professionalism of the man they sent. Not only did he unclog us, but he also asked for some trash bags to ensure that he didn’t drip any sludge on our floors!
