I feel fortunate to have found Sabrina and Alex as I would have a hard time trusting my dog with anyone else. They are warm, welcoming and talented. Usually, with a groomer, you have to settle for ‘good with the dog, okay groomer’ or ‘great with the grooming, okay with the dog’ but at The Barking Lot, you get both.

Took my Shih Tzu here last Tuesday in the hopes that someone could make him less smelly and bring him back to his beautiful white color, from the near-​black fur he had acquired from all of the recent snow. Sabrina (owner and person who groomed my furry little guy) delivered! Not only did she take my dog on the spot (even though she had about 3 or 4 other dogs either getting groomed or waiting for their turn), but she said he would be done in 2 hours! What a difference from Perfect Paws where I didn’t see my dog for almost 8 hours after dropping him off.
Very nice haircut, reasonably priced (under $ 50 for bath and haircut) and he still smells great –even after 3 days of being on the go.
We have found our new groomer!!!
