I’ve lived in Media for about three years and have been trying to find a mechanic I could trust. Don and his son, Craig fit the bill! They are honest, professional, and not out to bamboozle you. The most recent experience I had with them was the best I’ve had in this area. They both are extremely knowledgable and genuinely want to help you. I strongly recommend bringing your vehicle to this garage if you’re looking for efficient, reliable, and quick service without being swindled!

Surprised to see this place got such great reviews. Not my experience at all.
We are new to PA and needed to get our car thru safety and emissions. They are conveniently located right next to our neighborhood. My wife needed to make appointment to have inspections done, but they still did not finish the inspection the same day and I needed to call to call to ask if it was finished. WTF???
When I went to pick up the car, I was surprised to see that the cost was over $ 100. I thought this to exorbitant, but when I asked, the reply was «it is what it costs».
Went home and did a bit of research, and every other garage offers same inspection for $ 35-​$ 40. I called to ask why such a difference in price. (The owner) Don’s reply, «because we are honest» and proceeded to throw other local mechanics under the bus. What a load of BS! Didn’t realize there was such an upcharge for honesty.
Trust is earned and claiming honesty is very odd, given they are charging almost 3x what others are charging for the same service. I can only imagine that they do the same for other repairs and services. Too bad they won’t have the chance to prove me wrong, I will take my business elsewhere.

I was in need of an overdue car inspection and called Fulmer’s based on the great reviews. I called on a Monday and was able to get in by midweek. They were very accommodating. I was able to drop my car off first thing in the morning and get a courtesy ride to work which was close by. By noon I received an update that all went well and that my vehicle was done. My courtesy ride was waiting at the exact time I specified I would be done work. When I got back to the garage I was checked out and on my way. To my surprise there was a nice flower and card thanking me for patronizing their business. Such a nice and unexpected surprise! I couldn’t be happier with how the service and amazing customer service. I highly recommend this garage and will be patronizing them in the future. Great job!

Called Fulmer’s on a Monday morning needing to get my car inspected on Tuesday. They fit me in and drove me to and from work. Really nice guys, fair price, and quick service.

I recently moved to PA and was in need of a shop that could complete a State Inspection for me. Having read the other positive reviews about Fulmer’s I decided to give them a try. I was extremely happy with how professional, fast and economical the entire process was. I spoke to the owner who founded the garage in 1975 and was impressed by his commitment to providing honest and reliable service. This is a garage I will undoubtedly return to in the future. I am happy to have found them!

One of the best automotive shops I’ve been to in years. The mechanic I spoke to was friendly and helpful when explaining what needed to be done to my car. I will definitely be returning the next time my car needs service.

They were absolutely wonderful here. I highly recommend them-​great customer service. When I called about my car they expertly recommended I get it towed in (otherwise I would have ruined another part in my car) and they got it done the next day so I didn’t have to worry about finding another temporary car to get to work. Overall fantastic experience!

I went to one of those chain stores on Baltimore Pike to save a couple dollars– bad move! I ended spending so much more on repairs and the .part they used broke. I now only go to he part Fulmer’s– Don (the owner) and Ted– a great mechanic are wonderful! They are honest, family owned, fair– in other words I trust them. I will never go anywhere else again

I dread dealing with cars, and I despise poor customer service. So, I thank my lucky stars that I found Fulmer’s Garage. I went today to get a simple fix — a nail pulled and tire plugged. However, I will return to Fulmer’s for all of my future automotive needs. Located in a beautiful, wooded neighborhood in Media, PA, I read a book and listened to birds chirping while several friendly mechanics gave my car a thorough inspection and repair. Though you may be tempted to pull off Baltimore Ave to some chain body shop or service center, don’t do it! Choose Fulmer’s, and you’ll be happy you did!

The results of the first visit to this garage made me a devotee. Ya know how trying a new garage makes you feel like they will call and say you need to replace your whole engine? Well, I think we have all been conditioned to feel this way, so when I went to have them investigate the weird noises my car was making, and they said it was free of charge, I was flabbergasted! I didn’t need any service that time, but their forward thinking made me greatful, and I’m sure produced the result they were looking for. I have been back everytime I needed service, and have grown to trust their expertise, and prices. They even left a little envelope on the dash that I can’t open til next time as a cool incentive.
