A lumberyard that’s ok, just kinda snooty.
Tague Lumber seems to be reasonably well stocked, and they sell hardware items. Quality seems fine.
But ask the sales reps anything and you’re quite likely to get snubbed. ‘One piece of wood 24“x12“x6″? We can do that for you for $ 270.’ Or, ‘No, we don’t sell two-​by-​fours, but we do sell one-​and-​a-​half by three-​and-​a halfs.’ (i.e., the actual size of what everyone calls a «two-​by-​four.») Perhaps they only care about their big sales, and if you come in looking to make a small purchase, they feel insulted. Whatever. I live nearby but I try to go elsewhere if I can.
