History

Established in 1998.

Hamrick School is a private, for profit institution, owned and operated by FA Optimum, Inc.

In April 2012, Hamrick School was granted the 2012 Excellence in Business Award by the Greater Akron Chamber’s Small Business Council «as a prime example of a local business that has demonstrated outstanding performance, growth, staying power and innovation.»

Hamrick School was also received a Gold Star Award from Better Business Bureau for Zero Consumer Complaints in 2011 – 2013.

Hamrick School has been accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC)since June 1987. The ACCSC is a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education. Hamrick School has fulfilled ACCSC’s requirements for institutions seeking renewal of accreditation and has been recognized as a 2010 – 2011 ACCSC School of Distinction.
