At Once Upon a Child our mission is to provide a fun and convenient way to buy and sell kids stuff. We buy and sell high quality new and used merchandise focusing on value, safety, and condition. We buy and sell all types of baby and kids clothing sizes 0 – 3 to 18 in youth sizes, as well as toys, baby equipment, and furniture. We are not a consignment store, when you bring your items to us that you would like to sell we review them on the spot and make you an offer that same day for the items that we are able to purchase. We have savings of up to 70% off of what you will find in retail stores.

History

Established in 2000.

Since our establishment in 2000, we have been providing the melbourne/​palm bay areas with a convenient way to recycle their gently used kids items. We have moved to a larger location 3 times and currently offer our customers a 8500 sq ft shopping experience

Before opening Once Upon A Child in Melbourne 13 yrs ago I was a stay at home mother to two children. My husband Kevin and I decided that we wanted to do something that would not only support our family but would also help the community, especially young families trying to makes ends meet. We found out about the Once Upon A Child concept and were immediataley taken with it. We opened in February 2000 and are now one of the largest children’s resale stores East of the Mississippi. Getting to know the families of Brevard County has been an awesome experience over these 13 years. We look forward to continuing to help all families provide a fun and convenient way to buy and sell their gently used kid’s stuff for years to come.
