absolutely liked Dr. Moore! I have been going to her for years, she is very knowledgeable and her staff is very friendly! They always address each of my questions and concerns in detail. Both, Dr. Moore, and her nurses spend plenty of time in the room with you never rushing.
My negative experience was when I received a letter this past summer stating that they would not wait on me or family members due to a past due amount of like $ 130 that insurance company did not cover apparently. Never had a doctor turn patients away who they have a history with. So I guess I am in search of a new dermatology now after all this time.

Worst service ever! I’m writing this review as I sit in the waiting room. I booked my appointment for today, 1/​29, three months ago with confirmation and am now being told that I didn’t have an appointment. Excuse me! What the hell happened to a courtesy call since your «clinic» decided to change my appointment to February 12^th. Not only did they have the audacity to change my appointment, they also made me wait after they took two people who arrived after me. I am not a walk-​in! Your office screwed up big time and I have to pay for your idiocy. Thanks but no thanks. This is my last visit thanks to the major mistake. Oh did I mention that they claimed that they were behind and on top of that I had to wait for Dr. Moore for 35 minutes while in the room and she was only with me for 3 minutes tops! In total I spent 1.5 hours for a 3 minute consolation. I’m done!

I was originally a patient at Dr. Moore’s Lombard office, but had to switch due to insurance changes. This location I am not particularly fond of. It is old and run down, as is the area in which it is located. If I wasn’t thrilled with Dr. Moore’s bedside manner and thoroughness, I probably would not return to this location. Try the Lombard office, if possible!

BEWARE– THIS IS NOT A DOCTORS OFFICE-IT’S A CLINIC!!!
This was not only the worst Dermatologist I have been to but the worst doctors office of any kind that I have ever visited. It is located in a dingy decaying professional building behind Gottleib Hospital. The waiting room is old and run down. The bathrooms smell of urine. I had to wait 2 months to get my 9am appointment which I was on time for with preliminary paperwork on hand. I asked the uninterested receptionist how long it would be until I was called. She told me there were 3 people ahead of me and it would be a while. What? Why are there 3 people ahead of me when I have an appointment?
That was my first clue– THIS IS NOT A DOCTORS OFFICE– IT’S A CLINIC!!!
I waited an hour to be seen! Then the uninterested Dr Moore arrived. I told her I started to have dry skin & discoloration for the first time in my life since my pregnancy 3 years ago. She said something to the effect of — well we can’t reverse the fact that you were pregnant. What! I’m a 43 year old, educated professional woman with good insurance not a 15 year old dropout! And even if I was — HOW RUDE! She did not a any time touch my skin at all, nothing.
She gave me an rx for a $ 150.00 (after insurance) nmoisturizer for Rosasia– a problem I did not even bring up and dont believe I have. I was there for dry skin, are you telling me a dermatologist cannot help with this? She told me to buy some cleanser at Walgreens. She said other than that there’s nothing I can do. I asked about laser resurfacing. She said — oh you’ll have to go to a specialist. So in fact there is something else that can be done but she didnt offer it until I asked. Why? Because she assumed that I have no insurance and no money because THIS IS A CLINIC!
On the way out I asked the nurse– «Is this a clinic because it feels like a clinic?». She said– «Yes, it’s a clinic but we take appointments too.»
If this is how people on Medicare or Medicaid get treated I hope they don’t come here. The entire staff was condescending and rude. If I could give them zero stars I would. Go downtown to a professional office, there is literally nothing worth while in the near west suburbs no matter how many people have drank the koolaid and will tell you how great Oak Park is!

I recently went to Moore Dermatology and it was the best appointment I had ever made at a doctors office. The service was great and the staff really knew what they were talking about. I maybe really young but most of my life I’ve been battling with a skin condition. And this visit reassured me that it could turn around. Most accurate diagnosis I’ve ever had. I really recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a good and resourceful dermatologist.

I visited Moore Dermatology and have to say it was a wonderful experience for a doctors office. The Staff brings a family vibe which really shows the closeness and as a patient to really be yourself. I gave them 5 stars because for years I was battling random skin outbreaks and they were the first doctors to to accurately diagnose my problem and in turn resolve it. I would 100% endorse to anyone looking for a dermatologist.
