Established in 2003.
Founded by Dr. Scott A. Darragh, Bay State Centre Family Chiropractic was originated to care for children and adults of Melrose and the surrounding communities. Given that there is a severe underutilization of Chiropractic Health care services in the Commonwealth fueled Dr. Darragh’s vision to provide services and educate on living a healthier lifestyles. Chiropractic Health Care is leading the Wellness Revolution in providing drugless, safe, effective health care services and focuses on prevention and pro-active care. Dr. Scott stresses the importance of Chiropractic Health care as a vital need in pediatric care, its necessity in musculoskeletal health management, the pregnant population, hospital care and new perspectives in utilization and cost effectiveness for numerous health complaints.

Dr. Darragh completed his undergraduate studies in Medical Technology at the University of Rhode Island, Master of Public Health specializing in health education from the University of Northern Colorado and Doctor of Chiropractic from Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina. He promotes conservative Chiropractic Health Care for day old infants to the elder population and educates on living a lifestyle of health and wellness, providing community public health workshops and lectures for new patients, organizations, groups, churches and schools. He currently sits on the board of directors as a Vice President in charge of Public Information & Education for the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society, member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, American Public Health Association, North Shore Chiropractic Society and American Chiropractic Association; he teaches the Chiropractic Health Care Selective at Tufts Medical School.
