Dr Ciampa did a great job as did the optician. My new prescription is far more accurate than my last (from a different location) and the alignment of the progressive stages is a lot better.
I can see again. Recommended.

I have been going here for years and for one reason — the service. Richard and his team work very hard to make sure you’ve got glasses that work for you. The prices are fair, so if you are looking for nice people and good prices — well look no further.

I had tried many times over the years to get glasses to help my vision, and struck out each time. A friend referred me here and I couldn’t be happier. They took the time to do a full examination, and I didn’t feel like I was being rushed in any way like other places. The glasses I wound up getting are terrific, as is the customer service.

I went to Melrose Family Opticians not really sure what was going on other than I had an eye twitch and declining night vision. Kim could not have been more helpful. She found the right prescription for me, told me what I needed and what I didn’t, so that I would not be wasting money. They helped me pick out a wonderful pair of frames that I am very happy with. The exact price of frames was written right on them. In about a week, they called and I picked them up. Now I’m amazed at what I was missing. I finally get the big deal of HD TV!!!

Great family optician! Dr. Ciampa is great and very friendly. My mother used to see her in Chestnut Hill, Mass and when she changed to this office we quickly followed suit. Great selection of frames for such a small office. Would definitely recommend.

I have to admit that they are very nice in Family Opticians. They are very accommodating and they have a nice selection of frames available. Their prices are appropriate and they offer discounts depending on your insurance, etc.
I have not had an eye exam there since it was the previous doctor, but my boyfriend went the other day and we were very pleased with the current doctor. She was very nice, knowledgeable and kind. So check them out…
