AutoNation Ford Memphis

These guys got me in and out and did exactly what they were supposed to. My boss bought me a brand new 2015 transit t150 from here to work out of every day. my boss really loves me! We kind of got it on impulse without checking it out thoroughly and there are a lot of querks that I just can’t stand. I love having a new van but there are lots of things that Ford just got wrong and I kind of directed some of my dissatisfaction towards the dealership. I’m sure they get that all the time. Shame on Ford! Bill was extremely helpful and explained to me that the only thing they can do is fix it back exactly like it was designed. They cannot fix design flaws. I intend on writing a complete review of the t150 just not sure where to put it.
I’ve not had the first mechanical issue in 5 months 10 000 miles but I’ve been having more and more trouble with the big sliding door not shutting properly. Stopped by the dealer twice in the afternoons while driving close by just on the off chance they weren’t busy. Well they were and I could understand. Both times they told me to come 7:30 in the morning. Don’t remember who that guy was but I told him I’m coming Friday morning.
Friday morning I drove 50 miles and got there at 7:30 without a ride lined up. Bill helped me and said there was no way possible they could help me that morning. well I argued a little and I had a right to be mad. I had to leave but Bill promised me at twelve. Then I used Unilocal to my advantage. There are a couple reviews which Molly responded to by saying they should call and talk to the manager. I decided I would rather prevent a problem rather than let one escalate so I decided to take Molly’s advice. This made everything turn out right.
I left a message for a manager and Jamie called me promptly and promised me a time and I had another employee pick me up for lunch. I must admit, I promised Jamie I would write a review and it would either be a good one or a bad one. well, He met me just as soon as I pulled in and promised me to do what they say they will. Bill called right away and said they have to order a part so I picked the van up. He called me next business day and said he had the part. He promised me morning but told me I have to leave it. I did and When I picked it up today, my door works like it is supposed to. All in all, the service was very quick. But you do have to leave it.
I noticed it looked to me out of alignment and Bill was real good at showing me how it works and helping me understand that Ford screwed it up– not them!
Ford, please bring back the econoline!
I noticed that the way the door was closing was causing paint to rub off. I must admit I didn’t like their idea of touch up paint like doing fingernail polish, but I didn’t realized how how good it would look. it seems to be right now. Bill promised to work on it again if need be.
So far, Bill and Jamie have kept their promises. I would recommend asking for either of them before a small problem gets worse. I really appreciated the good work, and hope to get good work again, and I’m sorry for almost starting a stink.

Manager Devin is very unprofessional. He went as far as saying I ran over a parking mound or a deer in the road, when the actual problem (which he didn’t even bother looking at) was 2 missing screws on the side retainer under the wheel trim, which cause the bumper to look worse than what it actually was. I went and had 2 estimates at the Toyota dealership and Service King and they both stated NO DAMAGE to bumper, but possible broken clip on side retainer from rough roads, but neither make the assumption of any collision or accident. let alone run over a concrete parking mound. I did not appreciate Devin trying to insult my intelligence, and wave me off saying it was cosmetic damage caused by reckless driving. No worries, though I got it fixed in less than 2 minutes, and will have the missing grille back in. NO customer wants to hear about what what someone else did to wreck their car, and then be accused of the same action. I don’t want him anywhere near my car.

We have purchased our last 3 vehicles from AutoNation on Mt. Moriah (2009 F105, 2011 Explorer, & 2015 Expedition). We were very pleased with the vehicle selection & customer service; however, the service department is probably the primary reason we keep returning to purchase vehicles. Mike in the service department provides outstanding customer service and they have always treated us like valued customers. Very happy with this dealer.

Took my vehicle there because of a recall. I saw a woman drive off in my vehicle and the mechanic tried to convince me that the other mechanic was still working on my vehicle and it wasn’t given to the wrong person. I could overhear another guy on the phone calling the women back to let her know she had the wrong vehicle. I will never do business at that place again.

I had a great buying experience at AutoNation Ford. Norm was a professional in every sense. I found my car online and went to the dealership to test drive. He gave me good information and showed me options to be sure I was going to be happy with my purchase. I would recommend him and dealership to anyone.

Set up an appointment on Monday for a Tuesday telling them I needed an oil change and several small warranty items to be addressed. Upon arrival I was told it would be two days before they could even look at it. Are you kidding me. What a bunch of clowns. Watch these guys.
Update– Have bought two more Fords because I do like my F150. Needless to say I did not buy it from these clowns!
