I like the doctor I see when I visit the office. The worst thing about going to BMG is the wait… You will wait past your appointment time and when they do call you back, you may wait in a room for over 30 minutes before seeing someone.

They refuse to call in prescriptions for me even though I already have a prescription. I am told I have to make an appointment which will cost me me just to get a refill on a non-narcotic medication. The appointments are meaningless and just a means to get 30 dollars from me since the visit is usually under 1 – 2 minutes. This is ridiculous pointless. When calling about getting a refill you are transferred to the nurse and the nurses I have spoken to over the phone have not been polite and I could tell there was an underlying tone of frustration that they were bothered even when it was an urgent situation. I am done with family physicians group. There is just too much hassle they are making patients go through now. I would try another location but I am sure they will be the same. No thanks.

I have been a patient at Family Physician’s for over 20 years until now. They have been bought out by Baptist and their level of service has rapidly declined. I was admitted to the ER and asked to follow up with my doctor within 24 – 48 hours. I left 3 urgent messages with the nurse’s desk over a 24-hour period(they claim to return all calls within 24 hours) and received no call-back. I’m not sure what they deem to be urgent, or why they make promises they don’t deliver on when it comes to patient health, but they have definitely lost a patient in me and I will make sure all of my friends and family know about it!
