Great Service. Clean rooms. Bistro open till 10pm, which is fabulous when traveling with kids. Serve beer, which is awesome for parents traveling with kids. :) The only thing lacking was decent breakfast items. Room(double) was spacious, clean, and kept hood temps.

This was a very nice, professional hotel. The staff was very professional and personal. Even the guy at the small bar/bistro had the whole southern hospitality grove happening. The beds where better than the downtown Sheraton we stayed at a month before this visit. The Sheraton downtime cost twice as much, but I slept much better at the courtyard.

My visit was in March. I drove for like 20 minutes after leaving the airport, and saw really nothing of interest nearby. I suppose it’s more of a business/tumbleweed district than fun-times and shopping. Though there is a Kroeger and a liquor store nearby, just in case. Once I arrived, I’d kinda thought the Marriott would be nicer than it was. To be fair, they were in the middle of construction, which was definitely needed. However, I feel like if there is construction going on in your hotel you should pre-warn guests and then not put them below the activity! I was put on the first floor right below some loud saws, which was really annoying while I was trying to nap in the afternoon. Not only could I hear tools dropping and sawing while I tried to nap, I could hear the guy singing [which, I will admit was kinda funny]. I thought it was odd that I was put in there since I checked in early afternoon and there weren’t that many people staying there. I’m not sure if my room was pre or post-renovation. It was decent looking, but showed wear. The shower in my room drained very slowly, the curtain rod was mounted wrong and the curtain slumped toward the middle of it, and the toilet just continuously flushed unless I remembered to flip the handle back up. The best part of this hotel was the front desk staff. They were very nice and helpful – especially with the cool touch TV screen with a variety of activities and printable maps to places of interest. There’s a restaurant in the lobby area that looked nice, but had a weird personality/ambiance. It should have been lighted differently and perhaps sectioned off or something. I gave them three stars because at least they’re improving!

In lounge, beer is old and no salt for margaritas, too expensive even during happy hour
