We usually do some sort of ghost tour when we go on trips, and on this occasion the Dark Side of Memphis tour is what fit into our schedule. It was quick, but a ton of fun!
Our tour guide was Morgan, and she was great. She had lots of information about Memphis, and was just a good story teller. This tour was about an hour, as opposed to the longer ghost tour, and while I would have liked it to go longer, I felt that we got a good amount of information in our time. I don’t think we went to all the exact places listed on the web site, but we heard some spooky stories, and had lots of fun.
There was one kid on the tour, I’d think some of it might be a little scary for kids, but I guess it’s up to what your kid can handle.
I totally think this tour was worth the money, and would suggest it to anyone looking for a quick ghost-​type tour. I’ll also definitely sign up for Backbeat Tours’ regular ghost tour next time I’m in town if my schedule allows.
