The food was good, a Lil greasy tho and a bit of a wait bc it was only 2 workers. The place could use a good cleaning and customer service was straight to the point I guess that’s Memphis for ya!

Super divey, but this is a Memphis favorite. If you want greasy, yummy food then stop here! The cheeseburger is awesome, freshly cooked to order. The seasoned fries are the best! If you get a slush, get a suicide slush, it’s all of the slush flavors mixed together. The hot wings are also very good, ask them to fry the wings crispy. The philly cheesesteak is another good one. I heard this location is 24hours, perfect for after the club. It’s not an upscale, or even mid-scale establishment by any means. The service is usually pretty good though. Not sure how clean they are, I’m almost afraid to look. On a busy night, you might wait in line for a while so just be aware of that. Everything is cooked fresh so you may have a wait.

The food was absolutely delicious, as it has been since I started eating here in 2007. I am very fond of the women who work here because they take extra care in making sure that your order is correct. They are professional and patient with you when placing your order. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo with a large butterscotch milkshake. The cashier told made me aware of the upcharge for switching my drink and was thorough explaining how much I would pay for this. This was done out of her own courtesy, not me asking! Will eat here all the time.

Having recently been back to Memphis, my wife(who was my girlfriend the first time we went here) convinced me that i just had to try the Dixie Queen hot dogs(and she couldn’t believe that I only gave this place a 4 star rating last time). The hot dogs were pretty good… they seem smaller than they used to be, though. The outer casing of the hot dog seemed shriveled up and almost charred but I’m not sure how they cook them… it certainly gave them a unique texture and taste. I wouldn’t say they were the absolute best hot dogs I’ve ever had, but they’re certainly the most unique. They do have a pink ring on the inside which may be from the casing, I don’t really know. They tasted like a kind i’d had in some point in my past but I couldn’t figure out from where, which means that they’re unique enough to have their own kind of taste to them. This time I didn’t go with any extras because our travel companion George had picked up our food at the drive through(which had 4 other cars in line at the time). We did learn that the drive through never closes but that the dining room does have set hours(and I don’t know offhand what those are).
