Established in 1970.

Fouts & Morgan was incorporated in 1970 by Jimmie D. Fouts and Don W. Morgan in Memphis, Tennessee. Since then, the business has grown exponentially, building both on their expertise and that of the talented people that the firm has recruited. Their families remain clients of the business.

Meet the Business Owner

Doug G.

Business Owner

Doug, in practice since 1978, became the firm’s managing partner in 2001, focusing on construction contractors, not-​for-​profit organizations, and retirement plans. He also has extensive experience in individual and business taxation. The four other partners are Randal Gregory, an audit and tax partner who has been in practice since 1991. His primary emphasis is on the auditing of construction companies, hotels, home builders, service industries, and retail companies. He also concentrates on individual income tax and is in charge of the Firm’s quality control policies and procedures, and marketing. Michael Odom is an audit, tax, and technology partner and has been in practice since 1986. Responsible for technology implementation and tax practice, including multi-​state taxation issues. Audit experience includes construction, banking, retirement plans, and non-​profit organizations. Gary Purdy has been in practice here since 1997. focusing on audit, not-​for-​profits and retirement plans.
