History
Established in 2006.
by Fred Carl, the original owner of Viking, Interim restaurant was created as a means to keep the doors open after the original restaurant in that location failed. Mr. Carl placed Chef Jackson Kramer in charge of his kitchen. Chef Kramer’s love of local sourcing and simple, quality ingredients created a lasting impression on the Memphis dining scene, and to this date both the concept, and the name, have thrived in it’s East Memphis location. Now, Chef Jason Dallas has taken over the reigns, and continues to build new and exciting dishes while remaining in the spirit of what established Interim as a go-to dining experience in East Memphis.
