Lowe’s

I always come to Lowe’s for all my hardware, equipment, tools, vegetable, and flower needs. Service and prices are better than Home Depot, the stores have greater selections, and my experience is always first rate. I’ve been shopping at Lowe’s for years, and have visited most of their locations in Memphis.

Went to Lowe’s to get a bag of mortar to fix a simple DIY project that went horribly wrong. (Not that bad actually but horribly wrong sounds cool.) We came across a dryer on a scratch and dent sale that matches the washer we had to buy about a year ago. It was marked that it had been repaired. We wanted to find out what had been repaired on it, so asked a saleslady nearby. She was very nice, but said she could not help us as she worked in plants. She pointed to this other guy and said, «Ask him, he’s the store manager». So we did. His name was Will and he was great. He looked at the price on the dryer and said «I can do better than that.» and he knocked another 40% off it. So we took it. He arranged the order, arranged the delivery for Tuesday evening, set everything up just right. He said once it gets to your place, try it, if it doesn’t work out, call us we’ll come and get it.
We’d also wanted to look at barbecues. They didn’t have the particular model we wanted so first they tried the other Memphis stores and then tried further. Our new barbecue is coming from out of state. Some deal, when it gets in, they assemble it (for free) and then call us to go look at it. If we like it we can buy it.
The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is cuz sometimes you can’t find exactly what you need and I find their garden hose fittings poor quality.
