Woody D.

Manager

For 25 years as an award winning entertainer, writer, vocalist, keyboardist, band-​leader, and A&R representative, Woody energized and mesmerized crowds across the United States and Europe. In the late 90’s he brought his numerous talents and skills to Memphis Sound as our Operations Director and Chief Engineer. When he’s behind the board, bands often stop their shows and comment on how incredible the sound is! His secret: he won’t tell! He says it’s just using his ears. Well, it helps that he is also a computer engineer who not only understands these new digital machines, he helps design them! In what he calls his «other life» he excels in computer programming and is an airport owner and manager, so he brings detail-​oriented organization not often found in the entertainment industry. From planning through execution, his events are well conceived, in a time frame that is workable and makes sense… and he can repair most anything!
