So let’s say for the last few months I may or may not have been on a massive nail bling binge. I ditched my old faithful nail salon on the quest for nail perfection… or so I thought I found Kelli Mai, the owner of Nail Art on instagram and I was shocked to see that she was located 5 minutes away from where I live. I loved the close-knit neighborhood feel. It seemed like everyone knew at least one other person. Except for me, however I was made to feel more than welcomed. I’m a faithful bi weekly client at any nail salon I frequent so I’ve been at Nait Art maybe 10 – 12 times. The way my schedule is I typically end up there on the weekends and OMG it’s crowded! That’s life, I get my pedicure done first and the wait isn’t bad at all. The salon is clean and up to date, Kelli works with her entire family and they are super attentive to the clients needs. Her mother does the most amazing pedicures! They don’t offer add ons like hot wax or a sugar scrub but she has my feet baby soft each time. If you request that Kelli does your nail art this will add to your wait time, but its well worth it. She can literally do ANYTHING! The only complaint I have is the lifting. My nails always lift around the cuticles after a week! That’s so frustrating for me, ladies know what I mean. I can’t totally blame the salon because my nails are naturally short so maybe that adds to it. However, I don’t have that issue when I go to my usual place so idk! Overall, Nail Art is a wonderful salon if you’re looking to change things up and do something fun with your nails.
