Opus is an upscale restaurant located on the Club Level at the FedEx Forum. The view is the only reason I would chose to dine here again. If you like, you can have your meal served to you while looking out over the arena. Pretty neat if you ask me. Regular tables are also available for those to prefer not to be distracted from their food. Pre-game dining perhaps? I ordered the BLT salad to start and the pork chop with green beans for my entrée. The BLT(BACON, lettuce, tomato of course) salad was much more L&T than B and drenched in ranch dressing. Now, a sea of dressing may sound good to some, but I was wishing I had ordered the dressing on the side. The pork chop was good but nothing special. The green beans however were very good. I actually enjoyed the beans more than the pork chop and that says a lot since everyone knows I’m a total carnivore! I have to mention that two of my friends ordered the hot wings and we all found them completely uneatable. They were very small and the sauce was sweet, not hot. So why 3 starts with such a lack luster review? The view is great! It makes dining at the FedEx Forum an entertaining experience. It sure beats trying to balance a beer in your hand and nachos in your lap. Also the service we received from the staff was excellent.
