I started looking to replace my HVAC system in my home and one of my friends recommended Precision and gave me Kathe’s email address. I emailed her with what I thought was a simple request for a general price range for a new unit. After several emails I realized that my request wasn’t as simple as I had assumed. I work retail hours and being the holiday season I am rarely home during the week for a service call, aside from the occasional late shift. However, after assurances they could fit something around my schedule, I was put in touch with Amanda to schedule a visit for someone to write a quote. That was Monday morning around 11am. I was surprised when she said they could have someone out first thing the next morning.
I woke up early Tuesday so that I could be ready to leave for work after the appointment and about 20 minutes before the scheduled time, Amanda called to let me know that Larry was on his way. Sure enough he pulled up right on time. He took a look around and within very short order he had a written quote with 3 different installation options. He took time to answer my questions and then told me they could start work 2 days later on Thursday and should be finished by Saturday. I wasn’t expecting anything near that fast considering the holidays!
Thursday morning, Amanda called to let me know the install team was on their way. Right on time, Joe, Ronaldo and Taylor arrived. Joe asked me a few questions and took a quick look around. We discussed a few specifics and they got to work. I arrived home that night from work and the only signs they had been in or around the house were the new unit and pad sitting in place and some paths through the leaves where they had moved equipment. When Joe said they were clean, he meant it. Not a drop of dirt inside and no signs of anything out of place outside.
The next day they came to continue work and Joe let me know that they would need to put a second air return on the inside of the house. I told them where I’d like them to put it and left for work. Joe called me a few minutes later and told me that because of the joists in the floor they couldn’t put the return exactly where I wanted but suggested he could have it in the same area but about a foot further from the wall, which I approved. I got home and it is exactly where he said it would be, to the inch!
They ran into some problems on the job but were still done a day earlier than I expected! The new system is great and the thermostat they installed has wifi connectivity which is a cool bonus for me!
I can’t speak highly enough of the service thus far. Kathe was patient and very willing to work with me via email. Amanda always called before the technicians were to arrive which was very reassuring if you have to leave for work when the technicians arrived! Joe was eager, super polite and sincere. The install team left no signs of their work and did exactly what they promised, quickly and efficiently.
This is exactly the kind of service I would expect from my teams if I owned my own business. There’s no reason for me to ever call another HVAC company!

We love precision air conditioning and heating. This summer our AC went out on the hottest week of the season. We were able to get an appointment that day. Since the unit was toast (due to a brownout) they brought portable units for each of our bedrooms while they worked to get the unit replaced. They had the unit replaced in 3 days from the day we called them. They were very professional and courteous. We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work.
