Specialties

We specialize in 18^th and 19^th Century French Antiques, but we carry a wide variety of items including costume and vintage jewelry, original art, home accessories and more. We also believe in supporting local artists, so we feature a different artist every month, with an opening reception the First Friday of every month from 5−8pm. Also, there are studio spaces upstairs that we rent to local artists.

History

Established in 2013.

RS Antiques and Art started as a booth in a Memphis Antique Mall, then grew and grew until we moved out on our own in March of 2013.

The journey began when Jayne, a retired nurse, began looking for a hobby she and Robert Stephenson, a real estate appraiser, could share. Both appreciated fine antiques and art, especially 18^th and 19^th century French, one-​of-​a-​kind, large, unique and exclusive pieces. After three years of renting space at an antique mall they opened RS Antiques & Art in March 2013. They keep their shop filled with fine furniture, original art, accessories and jewelry.
