I think Dr. Gaither is the best dentist in town. He really emphasizes keeping your teeth and keeping them healthy. He only does work when it’s really necessary. I don’t think he would ever recommend any restoration work like crowns unless it’s really, really needed. He emphasizes maintaining the structure of the natural tooth whenever possible.

Dr Gaither and his ‘crew’ make going to the dentist a much more pleasant experience. My family has gone to him for many, many years. He and all the hygienists are very gentle and his approach to handling any problems is conservative. He takes into account all the options and considers the impact to the patient short term and long term.

Dr. Trouy(in practice with Dr. Gaither) is now my dentist and I highly recommend him! I’m in the process of some very extensive restoration work. Along with technical expertise I trust, Dr. Trouy has wonderful communication skills. He’s very patient explaining procedures and answering all my questions knowledgeably. Being fully informed and part of the decision making process regarding both the repairs and materials utilized is critically important to me, and I haven’t always had that from prior dental experiences. What’s wonderful is that Dr. Trouy approaches your dental health as a collaborative process, and wants you to be informed regarding the pros and cons of different options. It’s also worth noting that he doesn’t promote a more expensive option over one more affordable, given that both would solve the problem equally well. His dentistry itself is what will impact your health for years ahead — but the entire staff is very nice, making for an overall pleasant experience!

Dr. Gaither seems to have an overinflated view of who he is. Insists on a 2 hr consultation for new patients that includes sitting down with him and talking about the«5 areas of life». Also, he and the staff have no empathy for those who do not have dental insurance. I regularly go for cleaning and bite wing xrays. When I declined the additional panaramic xray(additional $ 75), the attitude changed and insisted I sign a waiver. Poor respect for client’s time and money.
