Sonic Drive-In

I went specifically for the new chicken sandwich they have been advertising — yikes almost $ 7. The chicken patty had a funny taste to it. It was either cooked in old grease or too many other items had been cooked in that same grease. Tasted nothing like chicken with an after taste. The bun was a hair away from being totally burned. Why serve the burned bun? I did a take out and would not drive back to return it, but I won’t be returning to that Sonic either.

Do not go to the Sonic they just ripped me off of $ 10. I gave a girl a 20 and they gave me change for a 10 and will not give me my change so I do not recommend this place do not go there. What a, rip off. And why do I know for sure that I gave her 20 because I just went to the bank and I did not get any $ 10 increments.

Once again… Memphis service style. Don’t be in a rush for that chili coney. Staff is friendly and are pros on roller skates. Overall flavor of sonic is sweet, even things that shouldn’t be… hmmm

I get that this is fast food and service isn’t necessarily what you expect but, my experience here at night was horrid. I’m upgrading it to a 2 because, the store manager contacted me and smoothed things out. However I witnessed a car hop snatch a drink out of a customers hand hard enough to spill it, the person who answered when we pushed the button and answered with «you can order», she argued with us when she read the order back incorrectly, of course our food was incorrect and then they argued with us about that even though we had the receipt. It was just all very bad. The manager gave us a gift card so we are going to give them another shot but, the service at this place was pretty bad I’m not sure how they will recover.

I worked for Sonic in my teenage years and I must say they really haven’t changed much… and I like that. They don’t seem to have the same «fast-​food restaurant attitude» that other chains have. I like that they’ve kept the drive-​in tradition through all these years. The servers still wear skates for the most part and they’re usually very friendly. I do wish that they still had a place to put your trash and the old trays to clip on your windows… that was a nice touch. Other than that, the food is always fresh and tasty.
