Ok would be a great way to describe our trip to Table 613. We arrived from a long road trip very hungry for something to satisfy our craving and with Table 613 residing adjacent to our hotel we decided to give it a try. Mind you we walked in around 2:30pm on a Thursday and the place was empty. The décor was simple with any personality being exhibited by the oversized fork and spoon impressionist paintings on the walls. The table and chairs were simple and the music provided by a boombox on the bar was there but not intrusive. The menu was simple(and kosher we found out in hindsight) and seemed to be innovative enough to offer something delightful. Our waitress seemed disenchanted due to the lack of customers so service was fine but nothing beyond the normal glass refilling and delivery of food. My fiancée ordered the steak sandwich which was again ok but along with the onions, jalapenos and mushrooms was saturated in a balsamic sauce that tasted a bit bitter. The bread was ok but it was certainly missing something in the realm of cheese(not possible as kosher) or aioli to tie the whole thing together. My chicken schnitzel sandwich had good flavor in the breading and the bun itself was decent but again was missing an aioli or other sauce to bring it together. The sweet potatoe fries were hand cut and were ok but somewhere between soggy from the oil and not crunchy. These two were served without any type of sauce other than the Heinz ketchup and mustard that were on the table upon being seated. At $ 26 for two sandwiches with a side of sweet potatoe fries the bang to buck ratio was not that great. I’m not from the area and can’t say how long the restaurant has been open but it certainly has the potential to turn an ok menu into a great one especially for those looking for somewhere that is sensitive to a kosher diet.

A nice new addition to the memphis dining scene — very nice atmosphere with responsive service — had the steak sandwich which was delicious aloong with the seet potato fries. The only knock I have to say was in regards to my appetizer — the onion blossom = tasted great but was a bit oily

We ate lunch their today. I had the chicken sub and it was so good! I love french fries and they had some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Service was friendly. It’s a kosher meat restaurant so they don’t have dairy. If you weren’t paying attention, you wouldn’t even notice! I don’t keep kosher and I’d choose to eat there.
