Taqueria El Kora

The food here was amazing some of the best authentic food I have ever eaten. But keep in mind when you go it is possible that you will get a waitress or waiter that does not speak English. This is also a hole in the wall kind of place nothing fancy at all… I stress this. Everyone here was very nice to us always checked in and asked how we liked everything and we loved it. I had the tamales dinner it was delicious some of the best pork tamales I have ever had the sauce in the side was also great but be warned use a little it is hot! Chris has been several times and tried different soups pazole Was what he tried today and he says they are some of the best he has ever had. This is a great lunch stop they get the food out pretty fast it is a tiny place but seems to always be busy. I will be going back for sure!

El Kora is a family run business with authentic Mexican food. The enchiladas potosinas are a little greasy but delicious. The chile rellenos dish is my favorite. It comes with one chile relleno filled with real mexican cheese (not the fake kind you get at texmex places) it also comes with carne asada with potatoes with green salsa, and of course rice and beans. I love that their corn and flour tortillas are all handmade. The pozole is a big hit, especially for hangovers. They do not have a full bar just imported beer and mexican sodas. I always order their homemade limeade. The place is a bit small and can be very crowded on the weekends but we always find a place to sit.

OK. The soups are the star here. Tamales and tacos are good but the soup and tortillas are ridiculous!
Haven’t been back in three years and I’m mad I waited so long. Had the birria de Chivo «goat rubbish» today and it was absolutely fantastic! I will be back for Pazole soon.
I like the food here a lot! The meats are very well seasoned and the tamales were great. Really fresh tortillas. I maybe wouldn’t recommend it to someone with no experience in similar restaurants as no one speaks English. Worth the trip for some good food!

This is a nice family restaurant with the usual casual Mexican restaurant fare. It’s definitely worth a visit.
