History

Established in 2012.

The owner of this company has been offering housekeeping services to the community for about 4 years but did not establish as a business until 2012. The Laundry Fairy is owned by Holly Griffith an East Memphis mom that understands the time taken away from family by doing laundry. Watching all the time spent in her home Holly decided to find a better, more efficient way to get the job done and free up valuable time and resources in her family. Since there were no pick up and delivery laundry services in East Memphis, Holly decided to use the entrepreneurial skills she had in other businesses to start her own service. With that, the Laundry Fairy was born.

Holly is a busy mom and tried finding ways to save time while keeping up with her household chores, but always found herself stressed and looking for more time. She realized she couldn’t possibly work full time, care for her home, raise her daughter, iron her husbands work shirts, and make time to enjoy life. Something had to give. She realized she would have to either hire help or possibly have a mental breakdown. After she hired help around the house she began to be filled with joy. She realized that her calling in life was to help other moms free their time up and enjoy their lives. She began organizing homes, cleaning homes, and finally doing others laundry. She was finally able to keep her life balanced while helping others make the most of their work/​life balance.
