The Oaks is a premier provider of addiction treatment services and nationally recognized for co-occurring addiction and mental health issues. They provide an environment of acceptance and the tools to rebuild their lives, stay healthy, and be free. They are committed to helping people rediscover their identity in a brand new way. Their program treats patients aged 18 and older in both residential and outpatient settings. Trained in the Foundations Recovery Network treatment model, the staff is specially qualified to address the complex needs of individuals with co-occurring disorders and to treat the whole person in a comprehensive way.
History
Established in 1997.
La Paloma in Memphis provides integrated treatment for individuals with substance abuse issues and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. Our seasoned staff of therapists, counselors and coordinators use the Foundations Treatment Model to address the complex needs of those struggling with a dual diagnosis.
We are the only treatment provider in Tennessee, and one of few in the country, to collect five-year comprehensive outcomes data on all clients, six and 12 months after program discharge.
Meet the Manager
Paige B.
Manager
Paige Bottom is the CEO for La Paloma, but she has been committed to the field of addiction and mental illness for more than 18 years, beginning with her work with adolescents diagnosed with both psychiatric and chemical dependency problems.
Bottom’s path began in direct clinical work in Virginia after completing her undergraduate work in psychology, but it soon branched into prevention and education as well through work as an Employee Assistance Professional for several Fortune 500 companies. Throughout this time, Bottom remained dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people who had been affected by addiction and mental illness. As a result, she returned to graduate school with a dual focus on Counseling Psychology and Business Administration.
After receiving her Master’s in Business Administration, Bottom worked extensively in Wilmington, NC and Santa Cruz, Calif., creating and nurturing programs to be more responsive, efficient and effective.
