Marion F.

Business Owner

Marion, owner of The Pilates Place, has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and teaching Pilates for 12 years. She received a BS in Exercise Science at the University of Mississippi, and worked as a personal fitness trainer until 1999, when she began her training in the Classical Method of Pilates. After completing the 600 hour apprenticeship in New York City under Romana Kryzanowska at the Pilates Studio, she pursued a second certification from Power Pilates in New York. Then in 2006, Marion took her Pilates work to the next level becoming a Power Pilates Teacher Trainer, teaching & certifying all levels of Pilates. She is also a Pilates Method Alliance certified instructor. Take a class with Marion and you will find her passion for Pilates hard to resist.
