One of my favorite places to go for my sweet tooth! They have a huge selection of everything from suckers to pickled eggs and more. If you need candy for the office or the kids(or yourself) this is THE place to go. No need for a business license to buy there and no membership fees like some places. Just show up, select your candy, pay and enjoy the sugar high!

Wayne’s is on my must visit when downtown list. I have taken many others there just for the fun of seeing their eyes when they see all that candy. Alas, I am trying to cut back on the sweet stuff so no caramel apple suckers for me, but if there is some obscure candy from your childhood that you can’t find anymore(Razzles?). Check out Wayne’s. The staff are all lifers and the nicest ever, too.

A place like this during times like today that doesn’t accept debit cards? Come on people don’t like to carry cash anymore bc we don’t know who’s around the next corner so we don’t want to take the chance of that happening. Place was good loved all the old school candy brought me bk to my days a a a kid. But couldn’t buy BC I had my debit card!!! Oh well if I go back I’ll try and remember to carry cash.

Love this place. Lots of classic candies, concessionaire products, and a healthy mix of chocolate suppliers. My favorite is the veritable cornucopia of single size potato chip flavors, and the friendly, old school service at checkout. They even toss in a few freebies as a bonus at checkout. …but you will need to bring cash to carry out the sweet delights found within.

The beauty of Wayne’s is in its bulk. Most of the candy is sold in giant quantities — 100 count boxes of Blow Pops, sour gum by the gallon jug, Tootsie Rolls in 350-count bags. All of the candy standards are there, but they’ve got some more obscure choices. If you’ve ever wanted a 50-count box of those weird gummy candies that are shaped like hambugrers or those really tasty /really disgusting caramel apple suckers, Wayne’s is the place to get them. They also carry some non-candy consession stand items like bulk nacho cheese, chips and giant jars of whole sour pickles. Before you get your sugar high, you’ve got to stop by an ATM — Wayne’s only takes cash and checks. They’re open Monday — Friday from 7 a.m. until 3:45 p.m.

Found this place by accident and glad I did. A huge candy, nut and chocolate wholesaler. It is located on a side street off a busy street and I happened to have looked on that street while stopped at a red light and saw their sign. Unlike Yummies this place has low prices which can be expected because it is a candy wholesaler. My friend and I bought more than a half dozen bags of chocolates and nuts and were happy with everything. The staff had Mid-South hospitality and was ready to help whenever we needed anything. They take cash only and their hours are something like 8AM to 5PM Monday to Friday. Luckily we got there about 4:30PM and had enough time to do the place quickly. They are convenient to downtown and should be part of the general Memphis experience along with a place like Leonard’s Ribs.
