Finally — a reputable, honest energy contractor.
I’m dismayed by some of the other reviews. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Boucher.
After living in my condo for a decade and depending thousands on my flawed HVAC system, Boucher finally offered a viable solution, while assisting with oil to gas conversion.
The work was done meticulously and I am thrilled with outcome. Technicians were responsible and completed the work in the promised amount of time.
Recently needed a service call and system cleaning and they with less than 2 days notice arranged appointment on Christmas
Eve! Technician arrived at 8:30 am on the nose.
This said, they are not inexpensive, but work is representative of value.

Be very careful! I hired this company several times and was pleased. However, I have come to learn they are VERY dishonest and excessively overcharge. Be sure to get other quotes before you hire Boucher.

Due to an issue with blown-​in-​insulation leaking from old ducts buried in the walls of my home, my last hope short of tearing down walls was to try the Aeroseal process, and I’m pleased to say that I’m elated with the outcome. Way better than I could have hoped for.
As mentioned in other reviews, price was a bit more than the few other MA companies that offer Aeroseal, but that’s because you’re hiring highly trained HVAC technicians which was evident from the moment they arrived! Not only did they perform an outstanding job, they kept the work area extremely clean.
I learned about Boucher Energy Systems from the Aeroseal website and also from the This Old House Aeroseal video.
If you’re looking for a quality HVAC, heating/​cooling company, I highly recommend Boucher Energy Systems! Also, If your home has forced air duct work, check out Aeroseal — it’s truly amazing and really works!!!

$ 265 for a Tune up on my Oil furnace. Highest I’ve ever paid., And it was just your typical cleaning and inspection, replace filters and nozzle. Doing it myself next time .
I also forgot to mention that they sent me a quote to replace my Power vent for my oil furnace. It has some corrosion on it. Quote was $ 1800 to replace. Retail price that I can buy vent is around $ 280. Probably a 2 hour job, and thats being generous with time. So hows that for trying to gouge the customer?

Had central mini-​duct AC installed in out older home and the work Boucher did was phenomenal. I received multiple quotes for the same Unico system and they were on the lower-​middle of the range for price. Their quality and reputation is what got me to use them instead of cmpetitors. They took the time to work with me on the design and installation of a custom system in an older, non-​ducted house. Installation was fast, professional and very clean! This past year was one of the hottest on record, but my house was cool all summer long and my energy bills were lower than when I was using a few window units! Instaling central air is a big decision and I highly reccomend Boucher energy Systems.

Last year my air conditioner went south. Boucher sent out a repair person who diagnosed the issue, ordered the part and fixed the system. The technician was very professional and told me exactly what he was going to do. I would recommend them

Boucher Energy replaced my «builders-​special» oil-​fired boiler with a modern, efficient boiler/​indirect-​water-​heater setup. We selected them because Joel came to our house and was very knowledgeable, directly answered all questions — a straight shooter — and we wanted to be sure that whomever installed this fancy new boiler was a trained expert at it.
The installation itself is terrific — masterful work, absolutely beautiful. All pipes are parallel, level, plumb; valves lined up; wires neat; pipes insulated. The crew cleaned up nicely.
The only negative I have to mention is that nearly everyone we dealt with (esp. the installers) were not terribly customer-​friendly. Courteous, professional, efficient, but I almost got the feeling they were doing me a favor by coming to install the thing, and when I went to check on progress I got the feeling I was invading their space. I guess they can get away with acting like «all that» because, hey, they are — the results speak for themselves — but it would be nice if they warmed up a bit to the customer.
