This restaurant is bar far one of the best and most consistent restaurants my husband and I have ever been to, and we’ve been going there for since we were both young kids. Not only have we never had a bad meal, but every meal is outstanding. If you’re in the mood for steak, be sure to bring your appetite because their portions are huge, especially the prime rib — the quality of which is far greater than any«fancy» steakhouse you’d ever visit in the city of Boston. Prices are VERY good, considering the amount of food served. It’s a family business run like a well-oiled machine. They have tons of waiters and waitresses, all very attentive. I really can’t say enough good things about this establishment.

New England Steak and Seafood has been a staple in our area for years. The food and service are always top notch. Simply put, it an old-fashioned steakhouse that is consistently excellent with great steaks, seafood and don’t forget those delicious cinnamon rolls! Try the prime rib and have it blackened! Add a combo of lobster and you’ll never go anyplace else for a steak. Service is always fantastic. These people know how to treat their customers right! Love it!

Delicious steaks and great service. My biggest complaint and why I don’t like going here is they use frozen vegetables that are always gross and mushy. Please bring in some fresh veggie’s!

Best steaks at reasonable prices. You never go home Hungary! Sitting in front 2 rooms is nicer than sitting far in the back.

Me and my wife went there for a 30th anniversary and told the hose that we chose to come here to eat and celebrate. She said nothing not even congratulations and set us at the back of the restaurant by ourselves. There was no one in there and the service was terrible. The meat caver was sweating over the food he was cutting. The bar is very cramped, old and dusty. The host try to say congratulations as we walked out the door I just turn my head and said save it thanks for nothing we will not be back! go to Longhorns or outback if you want to steak.

Kristen! She made the entire evening what it was! This was our first time visiting the restaurant and it was fairly quiet on this Wednesday evening. It felt like we were going back in time in that this restaurant provides soup to nuts for one decent price. We had delicious homemade cinnamon rolls, spice bread & onion rolls. Then crackers with cheddar cheese, then salad, then the entrée with sides, and if you had enough room, dessert! But the piece de resistance was our lovely server Kristen. She was the consummate professional along with being cordial, warm, inviting, solicitous and welcoming. She truly made the evening what it was. Since this was our first time, she made suggestions and recommendations to help us in choosing what to order. There are lots of options, believe you me. Needless to say, I highly recommend the restaurant and even more highly recommend that you ask to be served by Kristin.

Went twice, disappointed both times & won’t be back. Tough steak & my wife was also unimpressed with her meal. Loud & cold in the drafty table next to the wait station to boot!

This place has really gone down hill in the past year or two. Unfortunately the quality of the food has changed(negatively) and the prices continually go up. I mean $ 15 for buffalo tender appetizer… They’re insane. I don’t mind spending $ on great food, but that’s serious price gouging. It’s a shame, but we will no longer be visiting this place.

Tried it for our first time tonight. The prime rib was awesome and the steaks are out of this world! Great beer and wine selections too. we will definitely be returning!

New England Steak & Seafood is a staple of this area. Celebrating something? Come here. Want a nice dinner out? NE Steak it is! Just in the mood for steak? I know just the place. Now, don’t get me wrong; we’re not talking Morton’s or Ruth’s Chris here. NE Steak offers wonderful food in an old school homey atmosphere with an eye for their suburban clientele. I’ve never had a bad meal, and(although not MY preferred cut), you can’t go wrong with the prime rib. prices are hit or miss. Some things, like apps, are outrageously overpriced, but the entrees tend to be a lot more reasonable for what you’re getting, which is a LOT of food.

Love the food, Soo good!! Something for everyone. Just wish it was closer to my state. love the kabobs and the filet is amazing. They serve the best Lox and cream cheese with toast points and perfectly fine chopped red onion and chives. So fresh and best I ever had! Dont forget to try stuffed potato. Too good!! Hats off to the Chef!

The food was decent but nothing spectacular. Took a while to get to the table. Drinks were good. Tables are very close together. No rush to go back but it wasn’t an awful experience.

Awesome food just like you remember having a special dinner out with your parents back in the day. My brother described this place as «aces». The prime rib is PERFECT. They know how to do it right with a horseradish sour cream sauce on the side. I was in between getting the ribs vs burger. I’m so glad I listened to Angela our waitress. She recommended the burger and it was so juicy and tender; truly remarkable ! You must eat the sticky buns. The garlic dressing on the salad is sublime. This place is old school delicious.

The setting in here is rustic in homey in a way that works. They have outdoor seating for those summer nights but it warm and comforting in the cooler months. You begin your meal with a small plate of crackers and port wine cheese. This is nice but probably unnecessary since they give you bread also. If I’d known the first time that breads were coming, I’d probably have skipped the crackers which I reasonably assumed were the«bread course.» The breads are an interesting combination of cinnamon rolls, onion rolls(which are the same as the cinnamon rolls except there are onions in the place the cinnamon would be) and blueberry corn bread. Since I am a fan of neither cooked blueberries nor cornbread, I’m going to have to abstain from an opinion on that one, since it would be unfair. But, it sounds like an interesting combination. The cinnamon rolls were very good. Not very sweet, which is nice since they were before and not after the meal. The onion roll was terrible. I think it’s a wonderful idea and if the onions were caramelized it would have been amazing, but it was pretty much just barely cooked onions shoved in that space. That all said, it’s an interesting and unusual variety of breads and so, overall, well done. There’s also a naming convention that makes seem like they’ll be different/better/more gourmet than they actually are. Here are my examples: Italian Style Mozzarella: Same old boring probably from frozen mozzarella sticks you get everywhere. You get six regular sticks and it costs $ 9.99. Cayenne Spicy Wings: «Crispy bone –in wings touched with our own seasoning, served with a Cayenne dipping sauce.» Yeah. These are buffalo wings but the buffalo sauce in on the side, which is actually a terrible way to serve them because you can’t get an even coating without dipping half your hand in hot sauce and then shaking it off because it’s too much. Oh, and someone had posted picture of this which is why I ordered it. I’m sorry I did not also take a picture because what I got did not look like the photo posted here at ALL. The sauce in the photo has all these fresh scallions and vegetables and whatever. The sauce I got may have been house made but it might as well have come from a bottle of Frank’s. I tried the wing without the sauce and it was nothing special. I tasted the oil it was fried in more than any seasoning or even the chicken itself. With the sauce on the side it looks like a lot because it’s on a big plate and the sauce is in a bowl. This is probably why nobody is complaining that they are paying $ 11.99 for appetizer buff. That’s about ten wings, kids, for $ 12. While we’re taking about appetizers… $ 7 for a basket of fries. For what it’s worth, the fries are good, and, really, none of these prices broke the bank but it’s just all a buck or two more than it should be for what you get. If something was exotic or different or better or more original that what«the other guy» does… well, then one can expect to pay more, but none of this really is. The onion soup was very good. Not the best I’ve ever had but onion soup is a soup so many fail at and so any success should be commended. Although I will venture, again, to say it probably should have been $ 7. All of the salad dressings are made in house and those I’ve tried(Italian and blue cheese) were good, but three of them come with a $ 0.99 upcharge. A BUCK for blue cheese. This is a bit egregious. If some dressings cost more than others either don’t offer so many(there are a lot of dressing options) or, better yet, absorb the cost. It’s not the populous at large with go «oh, parmesan peppercorn, that must cost them a lot, I’m going to order that and stick it to ‘em even though I kinda wanted creamy Italian.» The entrees, on the other hand, are well priced for what you get. A kid’s fish and chips was $ 10 but you easily got an adult portion and the adult portion is allegedly twice the size. The salmon was fairly priced and delicious as well. The steak tips were okay. The rice with is a bit bland and there’s nothing special about the steak tips, but they were cooked with precision exactly to our specifications and that, in itself, is hard to find. I’ve not had any desserts here but they looked good in the cooler for whatever that might be worth to you. Overall I’ve say this is a solid place with some interesting and some mediocre choices.

Consistency is everything at this place which is why my family and I love coming here for special occasions. The prime rib and lazy man lobster casserole are a must if you want to spoil yourself but I have to say that the French Onion soup and burgers are the real show steelers here. Order a burger medium with the blackened seasoning and ask for some A1 when it comes to the table!

My wife and I have eaten here at least a dozen times. They always start you off with cheese and crackers followed by hot cinnamon, pumpkin, and onion rolls(personally I like the cinnamon the best but my wife raves about the onion) all before salad or apps. I normally go with the chicken or veal parm, which is always a healthy portion. They make their own salad dressing, which is cool, but their creamy garlic dressing is literally the best salad dressing I’ve ever had. I wish they sold it by the bottle. The décor of the place is alright. Standard old timey things strewn about, although some are local relics, which is more interesting. The building is quite large and contains many large and small rooms to dine in, one of which has a fireplace which is great and cozy in the winter. The service has been generally pretty good. The most glaring down side to this place is the price. Granted, they give you a lot of food and you’ll always leave full and probably with leftovers, but I still feel the prices are a bit high for what it is.
