Allen Interactions has pioneered the e-​learning industry since the first authoring tools were developed in 1985. Our CEO, Michael Allen, Ph.D., founded the company in 1993 to assist multimedia professionals in building engaging interactive learning solutions. With almost 45 years of professional, academic, and corporate experience in the field of instructional design, Michael Allen is a recognized leader and pioneer in the architecture and design of interactive multimedia learning systems and strategies. He is the chairman and CEO of Allen Interactions, which builds custom interactive learning solutions and provides consulting and training for interactive multimedia professionals. In 2012 Allen Interactions launched ZebraZapps, a new cloud-​based authoring system and collaborative environment, offering developers and non-​programmers alike the ability to create complex interactive applications with ease as well as share, publish, and sell their inventions. Technology designed and built by Michael Allen led to the formation of Macromedia and revolutionized multimedia software development.
