History

Established in 2010.

Dreams & Details founder Melissa Badger is a «style and substance» force to be reckoned with; a natural entertainer with a unique intuition for throwing the kind of party everyone wants to attend — and talks about for days after! It was her passion for philanthropy — 20+ years of envisioning and producing major fundraising events and milestone celebrations for a whole host of organization including the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula, Stanford University Cantor Arts Center, and the Junior League of Palo Alto-​Mid Peninsula (to name a few) — that led her to launch her firm in 2010.

Business Owner

Growing up in the Bay area, Melissa set her sights early on a career in Interior Design. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree she started her career here on the peninsula and within a few short years founded her interiors firm, Design Corner Inc. The cross over to event design evolved quickly; merging her passion for philanthropy with her love for transforming spaces into striking event environments — she discovered she COULD have her cake — design an event around it — and eat it too!

Combining incredible vision and out-​of-​the-​box creativity with a keen desire to bring endless positive energy (spelled F-​U-​N) to every effort quickly made her the «go to» event designer for friends and non-​profits in the know.
