History
Established in 1972.
After operating K.C. Artwork on Union St. for almost ten years, Kurt and Carol moved their business closer to home. Two weeks after they opened K.C. Goldsmiths in their first location in Menlo Park (Oak Grove and University), their second child was born. A number of years ago, they moved to their current location in the heart of downtown Menlo Park.

After studying to be a medical technologist, she started dabbling in wax carving and found she loved it. Getting involved with the customer to determine what they want in a piece of jewelry is her passion. She has developed a knack, over the past thirty plus years, of coming up with designs that are even better than what the customer had in mind. Carol just loves the look in her customer’s face when they are seeing their finished piece for the first time. That is when she gets the greatest satisfaction from all the hard work.
