Ruined my suit and would not take responsibility. Owner never returned my calls and put the employees in the middle. Total low class.

They do excellent work. Kamran, the owner, is a great person. My brother lives in sf but gets his dry cleaning done here.

Short-​sighted, rude, unprofessional store owner who was not willing to take responsibility for his employees or fix an easy-​to-​fix problem. This is not a place where the customer is always right.
I am so sad that my experience was nothing like the rest of the reviewers. I brought several things cleaned and altered. For the alternations I had to come back several times when the alternations person would be in the shop. It would be great to have this information ahead of time (website anyone?) to save all the extra trips.
The real disappointment came when I discovered my dress ruined, shortened about 6 inches too short for any form of deceny. I asked for it to be shortened evenly, but it was measured from the originally uneven hem, meaning it was still drastically uneven. She straightened it out, but at that point the entire dress was much too short.
The extra sad part was that the store owner (and alternations person) took 0 ownership of the issue, placing blame of me for incorrectly describing what I wanted. The store owner said it was up to the alterations person, whom he would check with if she would offer a discount. Of course he never called me back, but I finally caught him on my second try checking in for an update. He refused to compensate me (not even for the dress, just the alterations work!). I would think that covering the $ 28 alterations fee at least would be worth it to keep up relations, and avoid this review.
As the store owner, I would think he would take responsibility for his employees. Instead he said it was «the alterations person’s decision.» Seriously, if it were my business, I would have taken out $ 28 from my pocket. I was VERY, VERY frustrated.
He snapped at me as I stood with my ruined dress in his shop. I offered to give him the dress as proof I would never wear it anymore if I could just get my money back. He refused. Grrrrr, incredible what a horrible taste poor customer service leaves in your mouth. Luckily there are many other much better alterations places.

In short — Pks is fantastic. I had a few pairs of pants tapered in the leg and the work was excellent, cheap ($ 20 per pant), and quick. The employee I spoke with was very helpful and genuinely interested in altering the pants to my desired measurements. For alterations, go here. They have my business.

Excellent dry-​cleaning spot; the only one I trust in the area. Highly recommend it. Very quick turn around time, too.

PKS is the best dry cleaning and alterations

I needed a dress to be altered literally overnight, (24 hours) and they did a great job at a great price. ($ 25/​bridesmaid dress hem). I was very pleased with the outcome, and the service, and will definitely be back. Great location too.

Nice location! I can drop off my dry cleaning, get a tan next door, and have a cup of coffee all in one plaza! Very helpful and friendly! Prompt service and good results. Closed on Sundays.

I brought a satin evening gown with a mermaid hem here for shortening and they did a great job; total damage $ 30 and I had the dress back in 3 days. Also have had skirts and suits dry-​cleaned here– their prices are reasonable and they will make an effort to get things back to you in a hurry if you have an emergency.
