Specialties
I offer psychotherapy to adult individuals and couples. For years, I have worked clients who have experienced trauma; I am a Certified EMDR Therapist. I truly enjoy helping my clients heal from these life changing experiences and helping them achieve happiness and relief from the anxiety and terror that trauma can bring to their lives.
I also specialize in helping people with relationships, both as a couples therapist and as a focus of individual therapy. Relationships can be complex and having someone such as myself can be very beneficial to helping better understand one another’s expectations and needs from the relationship.
Life transitions of all sorts (i.e. career changes, aging, parenthood, divorce, etc.) are another area in which I have experience. I have worked with a variety of these changes and enjoy helping my clients better understand the challenges and opportunities presented with these changes.
History
Established in 1978.
Ever since I was a child, I enjoyed helping others. I followed this passion with an extensive education in psychology and was thrilled for the opportunity to begin my own private practice once I had completed my initial education and training.
Since then, I have operated my practice throughout several locations in Santa Clara county, and have called my current office in Menlo Park home for the past 20 years. I pride myself on creating a soothing, calming, and safe atmosphere for my clients to enjoy meeting me in and I hope you’ll have the chance to see it first-hand when we meet.

Business Owner
Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed helping others which is part of the reason I entered the field of psychology. I enjoy working with others to help them heal and change their lives around for the better.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching classic films, going on long walks through my neighborhood, painting, international travel, and spending time with my friends. I also enjoy connecting with my two wonderful adult children who have planted roots in San Francisco and Burlington, Vermont.
