Lemke Collision has earned my business for life! They are extremely competent, knowledgeable craftsmen who take pride in their work.
In December of 2015 another motorist ran a stop sign and hit my vehicle in the right front tire. The car had to be towed and being in panic mode I didn’t know where to go. I had my car towed to the dealership where I bought it, because they had a body shop and the car was only 9 months old. The logic was that a new Honda could be fixed properly at the place that sells and services new Hondas. Unfortunately, that theory was wrong. Long story short, the vehicle went back to the dealership 3 times and the steering never felt right. They insisted that everything was okay because they had done an alignment. However, when I would turn the wheel hard right the right front tire (where the impact was) was rubbing on the the fender liner (wheel well).
Frustrated with the dealership, a colleague recommended LEMKE COLLISION. I called them up and spoke to Jeff, the owner. Jeff immediately had some ideas about what could be wrong and said he’d be happy to look at it for me. He got me in right away, put the car on the lift and started taking measurements while I was there. He took the time to explain what could happen in a collision like mine and discovered that the cradle was knocked out of whack and the right A arm was bent. He took pictures of the measurements and got on the phone with the insurance company immediately, so that he could do the repairs properly. It only took him about 15 minutes to figure out what was wrong and get the claim going with insurance. The next day the cradle was straightened out, the arm was replaced and the vehicle was realigned. Upon completion of the work at Lemke, and for the first time in a month, my car drives like it did before the accident.
So lesson learned. If I should ever need any sort of body work again I know where to go. Lemke’s meticulous attention to detail and wealth of knowledge from many years of experience makes this business the right place to go for body work. Lemke is a honest family business that truly cares about doing good work. The people that answer the phone, talk to customers and deal with insurance are the same ones working on your car.
