Awesome little fruit stand from a long time local farmer featuring seasonal varieties, heirloom veggies, orange blossom honey, Valencia Oranges, and avocados. Larry Jacinto of Larry Jacinto Construction owns the stand, the guy has a major construction operation but its nice too see he still takes an active role in providing the local community with fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables. Protip: Get your veggies here, then go down one block to Staffords to get what Jacintos doesn’t have. Staffords is another fruit stand with more variety but sources their food farther away, one block west of Jacintos.

The store is clean and neat but I don’t seem to have great luck with the produce. The avocados are partially black inside half the time and the last time I got strawberries I found a tiny white worm in some of them. In all my life I have never found worms inside strawberries! The worm was still alive, too. Definitely makes me think twice before eating a berry without cutting it first. I do like the huge onions, though.(Review for Mentone location. I posted once already but seems it was deleted.)

Nice fruit and vegetables fresh from the farm. Located in town. Sometimes miss it because of the hours, also the same problem with Stafford’s Market. Great selection of candies and fruits there also. Stop, buy, both places.

Looking for unusual heirloom veggies that are farm fresh and local? Head to Jacinto Farms. Everything that the cutely decorated store sells is grown within a 4mile radius. They grow many fun types of veggies that create impressive ingredients for concocting a gourmet meal. It’s no surprise that the high end local restaurants utilize Jacinto’s products: A la minute, Hanger 24, The Farm. Swing by and support ‘em if you are in the area.

It’s a very small market with limited items. Now on that note, even though it’s small, their items are always freshly picked and great deals. I come for the big avocados that come in a bag of about 6 for $ 3.50/bag. I also bought 2GIANT leeks for $ 1! They had delicious fresh squeezed orange juice that I bought. I really enjoy that they change things up depending on what’s in season. Love this little spot!

FRESH Fruits and Veggies This is a cool little stand/shop that offers fruits and veggies at good prices. Everything is grown locally within 5 miles. I usually get some Oranges, Grapefruits, Lemons, and Tomatoes on my way down from Big Bear. They have more items to select from and a lot of various potatoes. This place is Open Daily from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Got lemons and raw honey to put in my tea(I’m fighting a cold.) Glad I stopped in, the staff were super friendly, the store was clean, and I learned there’s another Jacinto’s in Redlands on Brookside. Will be back!

Fresh, locally grown, inexpensive fruit and vegetables. A good stop on the way up to the mountains. I’d add an extra star if the produce was grown insecticide free.

I saw this place on the way up Highway 38 going to Big Bear, and I knew I’d have to make a stop on my way back down the mountain. The orange juice they sell is so fresh that I got seeds in my mouth while drinking it. Absolutely delicious, but it also comes with a warning that since it hasn’t been pasteurized it may contain bacteria harmful to the elderly, babies and those with weakened immune systems. I’m none of those things, so I enjoyed the hell out of it. I grab a bag of fresh oranges for $ 2, grapefruits for $ 2, a bag of purple potatoes(yes, as in the actual flesh looks like something out of Willy Wonka) for under $ 2, a fat juicy tomato for under $ 1 and a head of some of the best lettuce I’ve ever had for $ 1. I would have bought more, but organic foods spoil much faster than store bought stuff, so I didn’t want to get more than I knew I could consume in a few days. This is definitely my new spot to hit up every time I head home from a day on the slopes. Well worth it, not only because you’re eating well, but to support local, organic farming that most people aren’t able to enjoy.

Awesome! Picked up a half dozen perfectly ripe grapefruit for $ 2! They had a dozen different kinds of heirloom tomatoes. Amazing variety. Read about them on the website… everything is grown within a 5 mile area.

An awesome fruit and vegetable stand featuring locally grown produce, raw honey and jams. I live in the San Bernardino Mountains so my options to buy locally grown produce are slim to none but right at the bottom of the mountains is this great vegetable stand market. Everything they sell is grown within 4 miles of the retail market and I am a big fan of buying local. The prices are awesome and everything is so fresh.
