My neighbor woke me at 6 am to alert me that my car had a flat tire. I went outside and I could see the head of a screw in the tire tread. The tire was totally flat.
I took the tire to Mr. Tire in Mentor on the Lake. I bought the tire at Mr. Tire in Mayfield Heights last year. The attendant looked at it and said it he would see if it could be repaired, but I was not optimistic. I assumed I would have to get a new tire for $ 100 or more.
I had lunch at the Burger King across the parking lot and returned 15 minutes later. To my amazement, the tire was repaired. With tax, it totaled just over $ 20.
I will be a devoted customer because other places would have just trashed my tire and made me buy a new one. Mr. Tire has honest workers and I thank them.
