Our office has knowledgeable doctors and friendly staff members dedicated to fulfilling all of your eye care needs including: comprehensive eye exams, glasses & designer frames, contact lenses, diagnosis, management and treatment of eye disease such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts and emergency eye care.

History

Established in 1962.

Dr. Brian Kane is a lifelong resident of Lake County and began an interest in Optometry as a patient of Dr. L.J. West at the Painesville office location. He pursued his degree at the Indiana University School of Optometry and worked with Dr. West before assuming the administrative duties.

At the same time, Dr. Kane worked with Dr. Edward Friedman at his Willoughby office and took over the practice in 1999. Currently there are three additional doctors working with Dr. Kane to provide quality eye exams for patients of all ages. Management of vision related medical issues is also a service offered to patients.

Dr. Kane’s mission is for Family Eyecare Clinic is to «Always exceed the patient’s visual needs and wants and everything else will follow.»

Business Owner

Brian J. Kane, O.D. has grown up in Northeast Ohio with strong family interests. He has been practicing in Lake County for thirteen years since graduating from Indiana University Optometry School.

In practice, Dr. Kane enjoys challenging contact lens fits and unique options for visual corrective needs. The comprehensive eye exams provided are state-​of-​the art with laser and computerized technology.

In serving his community he has held board positions in local Chambers of Commerce, Lions clubs, Cleveland Sight Center Advisory board and Rotary. Also, he provides a mobile eye clinic to visit homes when medically necessary.

Memberships: American Optometric Association, Ohio Optometric Association, Practice Management Association, Cleveland Sight Center Advisory Board, Independent Doctors of Optometric Care
