Salon Michaels is a full-​service salon conveniently located at 7362 Center Street in Mentor. In business since 1989, it was originally known as Michael’s Mane Design Inc. but after an extensive renovation, the introduction of several new services and product lines, and the addition of new team members, owner Michael A. Price decided to re-​brand his company «Salon Michaels.» Although much has changed, one thing has not. Salon Michaels continues to deliver consistent, high-​quality, personalized attention at very competitive prices. Michael began his career at the age of 17. He graduated early from high school to attend All State Barber and Hairstyling College in Cleveland, Ohio. He became a licensed Barber/​Stylist in February 1984. In 1984 Michael opened Shear Excellence, a Unisex Hairstyling Salon. Then In 1989, he opened Michael’s Mane Design Inc. As clientele rapidly grew, he moved the salon to 7362 Center St. In Mentor, Ohio. To keep up with the ever changing times, Salon Michaels was created in 2008. Salon Michael’s continues to grow and offer new services. Michael energetically leads his staff and encourages continuing education classes to keep up on «the latest» in the beauty industry. You can still find Michael behind the chair with clients, many who have been with him since day one. Michael has pursued a career in the hair industry because he finds the interaction with clients is rewarding and truly loves making people feel beautiful. His r
