I also went to this salon with a groupon for mani/​spa pedis. I purchased the three pack for a greater savings and only paid $ 25/​visit total. My first trip there I received a decent mani/​pedi, not perfect, but worth the usual going price on their board which at the time was $ 57. The second time I returned the going price had been raised to $ 79. I should have asked for the same girl. Instead I had a woman who on my spa pedicure I had to ask to have my callouses filed and did not buff my nails at all which then left ridges in the final appearance. She hardly applied lotion at all and did a shoty job at best on the cuticles. There were parts of my toenails she totally missed painting and they were chipping within a couple days which is unheard of for my typical pedicures. They looked worse that when I do them myself! As for my 2^nd manicure, the lady didn’t apply any lotion at all or even touch my hands or arms. When I left I realized my hands looked dry enough to seem like I’d just been cleaning all day instead of just leaving a spa. I asked her to redo a couple of my nails because they looked so bad after she bumped them with her bracelet several times while working. She just tried to glop more paint over the top which was no way going to dry. It was literally forming a drip at the edge of my thumb. I had to ask her to remove it and redo it all together. I realize when writing this that it seems too unbelievable to not be exaggerated… but I am usually very easy to please. The reason I gave this a ²⁄₅ is because the girl I had the first time was very nice and did conscientious work and even though it wasn’t the poshest place I’ve been, my nails looked nice and it was worth the going rate of $ 57. The second visit was in no way close to worth the new going rate of $ 79 or the original price of $ 57! I’m glad I bought these on a groupon and didn’t pay those prices. I am going to try to schedule my third and final visit today… After which I will not go back.

I made this appointment because I bought a Groupon and wanted to find a local nail salon that I could trust. When I walked in, I was greeted by «small business» interior design, obviously on a budget. I decided not to judge a company by their interior, and boy, was I wrong!
The towels used for my mani/​pedi were the same stained, rough, mismatched towels that were used for hair coloring. During the pedi, the massage chair randomly changed position, moving back about 6 inches — the beautician said that it happened all the time. At the end of my pedicure, she informed me that they were out of sandals, so I would have to step on my shoes and slide around on them. (Thank goodness I wore flats!)
I opted to pay $ 15 to upgrade my mani to a shellac mani. After shuffling over to the manicure station, I was greeted with more rough towels. There was no buffer in sight and she instead used the less abrasive side of the nail file to buff my nails. Cuticles were pushed back and not trimmed, leaving torn cuticles which I then had to trim myself when I got home. The shellac was applied too thick in places and not close to my cuticles at ALL — there was a 1/​8″ gap! On 2 of my fingers, she glopped the paint on so thickly at the tip that my nail was bending uncomfortably and I had to file the underside of my nail down to relieve the discomfort.
After my mani was complete, she announced that all of my nails were completely dry and I could put on my shoes AND my socks — NOT TRUE! I drove home 5 minutes away after the appointment and inspected my toenails to find the polish on my big toes had been quite obviously still tacky, as it now appeared mangled from my sock. I also discovered that the callouses on my feet were still rough enough to catch on my dress socks. I have never in my LIFE had an experience this bad.
Overall, I was very underwhelmed and feel like I completely wasted my money. Thank GOD it’s not sandals weather.
